  • Perfect Family Retreat!

"This home was perfect for our large family get-together. Adults and children alike were pleased with the comfy accommodations! The cousins loved having their own "bunk" room to have a space by themselves. We had the option of being separate or being together with plenty of room to spread out There was everything we needed for cooking meals and lounging at the house, and it was just a short walk to the lake. We took advantage of the fire pit in the back yard to make smores and relax after a day playing in the mountains. Beautiful! We'll be back!"

  • Great Place to Stay!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had eight people in our group and the sleeping arrangements worked out great for us. There is a lot to do near this cabin and we did most of it. Rocky Mountain National Park is minutes away and it is worth the time to go through it. We did have a question come up that we needed to contact the owner once and he was a super great guy to deal with. The cabin is setup pretty neat on the inside and is comfortable. If we ever go back to Grand Lake on vacation we wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again."

  • Small but adorable! Had everything we needed.

"We enjoyed a truly exceptional vacation in the Rockies. The condo was perfect! We had everything we needed, and it was very comfortable. It was even a blessing that wifi isn't available in the unit. It prevented me from getting caught up in my work and made it possible to really disconnect and relax. The condo is ideally located - - very near Grand Lake, Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We never lacked for something to do. One of the things we love about The Summit is the amenities building with the pool, sauna and hot tub. There's nothing better than a nice soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring. It's the perfect end to a perfect day! We will be back!"

  • Perfect vacation rental

"Overall the house was great. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful view, clean, close to my wedding venue, the AA Barn. We slept 7 very comfortably and the grill and deck were awesome. They do warn you that you have to buy extra toilet paper and paper towels if you run out (which we did) which I thought was a little chintzy when you are paying hundreds of dollars per night. I think toilet paper is something you should have plenty of. My only other suggestion would be that having a full length mirror would have been really nice (while getting ready for my wedding especially). We threw our trash at the boat launch at Shadow Mountain Lake. Overall great place to stay that was perfect for me and my family. Mike was very responsive and easy to book with and the place was beautiful."
