  • Summer in Silverthorne

"We stayed a week in this condo and had a great time. Plenty to do in Summit Co-- loved the Keystone Wine Fest, bike trails and hiking Quandary Peak (saw mtn goats). The condo is in the Wildernest subdivision and has great views of the local mtns and Lake Dillon. The condo is quiet and has lots of extras that improve your trip-- the kitchen is well stocked, DVDs to watch, laundry facility, etc. We enjoyed Higgles Ice Cream stand and Pub Ryan's brewery. P.S.: The pictures are accurate."

  • Great location for a family vacation!

"Couldn't of asked for anything better. Had a great time with my husband, adult children, and their spouses. Shopping, fishing, and hiking all very close by. Condo was very nice with fantastic views. Would definitely go again."

  • Excellent location and value

"This was our first time staying at the condo, hopefully it won't be our last. Our family consists of me, my husband and our 5 & 3 year old children. First of all, It was quite nice to find the room on the same floor as the main entrance to the building. It makes for quick work unloading the car! Next, as the owner states, this is clearly their second home. It was great to find the kitchen stocked with the basic (and more) necessities. There's nothing more frustrating than renting a place with a kitchen, bringing your own food, then discovering you need salt or ketchup, or creamer. I never assume those things are included, but it is nice that they allow use of those items. I assume some items have been left by previous renters as well. Pay it forward. Each room has a tv with limited stations (you are in the mountains after all) and there is a selection of DVD movies to choose from in addition to a large Disney VHS collection as well. My children loved picking out a movie to watch from the bunk beds! They also have an assortment of board games, puzzles and books to help you unwind. There are 2 balconies, but they were covered in snow during our stay, but I'll bet it would be a nice place to have a morning cup of coffee, or after dinner drink. There is also a nice wood burning fireplace with instructions, kindling, wood and tools necessary to make a cozy night. The location is up Wildernest Rd. We went to Keystone Resort during our stay and it only took us 25 minutes to get there. We were in line to be first on the lifts that day! The city of Silverthorne and Dillon both offer plenty in the way of restaurants and shops. It's just a quick ride down the hill and you're in the midst of Silverthorne. There must also be a shuttle that goes around Wildernest Loop because there always many people waiting with ski/snowboard gear. There is a stop just across the main street from this condo. All in all -- great place to stay, highly recommended!"

  • Excellent condo and great location

"The condo is pretty easy to find and is in the 'best' side of Silverthorne. We were visibily impressed with everthing presented. Everything was clean and all the appliances looked new. The bathrooms were fully stocked for 2 weeks. Looking for points to deduct we did go round looking for things that we not available, only to open another cupboard to find something stored there (often 2). Our needs were pretty simple, we were out pretty early to ski and ate out in the mornings and evenings, but we then came back to the hot tub which soothed the excertions of the day away. Particularly liked the dressing gown and the shoes in garage provided! I did cook on 2 occasions as the BBQ was neatly arranged outside the kitchen window. BBQ was brand new, but I did try to clean everthing off (I did want some thyme flakes but could not find in kitchen - I thought about deducting a point, but then realised this was my requirement, plus I used some olive oil that was available). Having arrived with from airport with full ski gear we did not have much room for 'normal' clothes (any 'spare capacity' was eagerly protected for visits to the Silverthorne outlets), so first thing wife checked out was washing machine and dryer. Thank you for this, excellent - just goes to show I always look after her! You could also buy shares in Levis, Columbia and possibly Calvin Klein. Silverthorne is great for skiing at Keystone, Arophoe Basin, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek (plus Loveland & Copper Mountain). This was why we chose it as location for holiday - we could ski in any of these resorts within 15 mins - 45 mins. Particularly liked Keystone (nearest), particularly that they do not charge for parking. If you want to finish your legs of try 'Ambush' and 'Powder Cap' on North Peak. Overall a great holiday location and communication was excellent - thanks Annette & Harrie. Skiing in Europe next year, but you maybe 2018."
