  • A Winter Park Wonder

"An ideal family apartment well situated for easy access to both Winter Park ski resort and town. The half-hourly shuttle was superb, our kids measured that it was 56 paces from the front door to the shuttle stop. We ended up using the car mainly to store the ski’s in overnight and the run to the Safeway in Fraser (5-mins away). At the weekend, the Beaver Village Condominium’s shuttle ran additional services to the base of the mountain. We couldn’t really fault the apartment. It is exactly as it is shown in the photos and it is very well equipped. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (and for the 8 of us when our friends from Fort Collins came to join us for the weekend). Importantly, it was warm and there was a good supply of hot water for showers, despite my daughters doing her best to empty the hot water tank while she sang her heart out to whatever is supposed to be popular music today. We visited the restaurants of Winter Park every other night. I don’t know whether it was because we stood out because we were English but absolutely everybody we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. On the other nights, we cooked in the apartment, the kitchen had all that we needed to cater for the 8 of us. When it was just the 4 of us there was enough crockery and cutlery that we only needed to turn the dishwasher on a couple of times during our stay. The laundry room in the club house was handy (and relatively cheap). It was quite handy to disappear from the kids for an hour or so, sprawl out on the sofa’s in the laundry room and read a book, while our smalls were being refreshed. Despite being the peak season, we always managed to get a hot tub to ourselves each time we visited the clubhouse. The BVC DVD collection was very extensive which we took full advantage of. (Our Après Ski evenings consisted of snuggling up on the sofa, watching movies and eating ice cream straight from the tub. We’ve have had a superb relationship with the owners since the very first contact regarding the apartment in Jul 15. (I’ve had less contact with close members of family over the last year.) Every query we had was answered promptly and the information provided was very reliable. I would return to this apartment in an instant. However I guess it’s going to take a while to save enough cash to cover the airfares, lift passes and ski hire again so it’ll be a while before we return. In the meantime I’m more than happy to recommend this apartment to others."

  • well appointed, just as the write ups said.

"we were very pleased with our whole experience at the zephyr condo. getting in, parking, our expectations were all met with very high satisfaction. the pilot light on the fireplace blew out and they had maintenance up that afternoon to fix it. we loved being so close, eating at our condo for lunch. it was easy to use the lockers and our place was very quiet. we loved to sit and read by the fireplace after a day of skiing. we used the hot tubs several times. we had no complaints!"

  • Great Rental

"The unit is clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Ideally located to the Town of Vail free bus. The ski locker at the base of the Vail gondola is an outstanding perk. It is a great value."

  • The house had all that we needed and was clean, tidy, attractive, and in a great location.

"We came to Frisco to bike with two other couples. We were pleased to have a garage where we could store the bikes. The house was well laid out and very comfortable for the six of us. The remodeled kitchen was great for preparing meals and the big dining room table made a perfect place to share food and conversation. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and TV in the living room, plus the seating there was comfortable. We each had our own bedroom and bath, so that was especially nice. The creek runs right behind the house, and when we sat out on the back deck it was nice to hear the water below. The house is very close to the bike path and that's a real plus as each day we could easily ride to Breckenridge or Copper Mountain. This is a good house for groups and I would recommend it. The management company was easy to work with and provided very clear information."
