  • Nicely Appointed and Convenient

"The property description is accurate and the condominium is very comfortable for two couples to share space. Our host was most helpful both in providing us with information about Aspen and the surrounding area before we arrived and with remedying a few minor problems we encountered while there. The views from the deck are great and the condominium is extremely convenient to Snowmass mountain (bus pick up is close and three stops from the base of Snowmass). There are also buses that run regularly to the three other nearby mountains nearer to Aspen proper so a car isn't necessary should you fly into Aspen. I highly recommend staying at this property and hope to be back."

  • Accessible wilderness + Luxury: Unbeatable

"We've been coming here every summer (usually June/July) for years, and swear it's the most beautiful place in the world. It's big enough for our whole extended family to come together, and there's so much to do! There's the swimming pool (with waterfall) with a view that makes the pool continuous with the lake; there are trails all over the ranch; there's boating on the lake [and fishing]; and there're endless opportunities to see and experience wildlife. But the best thing about it is the combination of perfect privacy and tranquility -- you really are in the wilderness, with nobody but yourselves for company, but at the same time you've got all the amenities of Snowmass Village literally 5 minutes away (and Aspen 20 mins away up valley). The house is wonderfully comfortable and superbly looked after, and we need hardly mention that the views are out of this world. Come once (as we did), and you'll find yourself (like us) coming back every year."

  • Would give 3.5 stars if I could....

"Stayed 5 nights in this unit. This is our fourth consecutive year at Snowmass and we decided to try a condo instead of the Westin or Viceroy. Pros: Close to slopes - less than 2" walk to Fanny Hill. Ski down to Village Express. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice common area with sofa, two comfy chairs, fireplace and dining table. 7" or so walk to Snowmass mall (via shortcut path). Laundry in master bedroom. HDTV. Membership to Snowmass Club - very nice workout facility but approximately 8" drive from condo. Unit overlooks the hot tub. Management company friendly and responsive. Cons: The king bed in the master bedroom is awful - I could feel every single movement my husband made throughout the night. Very difficult to cool the unit down at night using the "Lo/Hi" thermostat - had to leave windows cracked in order to have a comfortable sleeping environment. Sometimes would get too cold as a result. The bathroom in the master bedroom is tiny with minimal counter space. The bathroom outside the master is bigger with two sinks and bathtub/shower. Upstairs unit must have no carpet as we could hear every footstep from noisy neighbors toward the end of our stay. Certainly not the fault of this property but still annoying when a 4 year old wakes up at 630am every day and starts running around the unit nonstop. Overall, 3.5 stars for reasons given above. We enjoyed the extra space, kitchen and laundry - compared to a hotel - but the master bedroom bed is quite possibly a deal breaker for us for a future stay."

  • ski in and ski out of the best place in Snowmass

"Impeccable service, awesome location. First time we have skied in Snowmass and it's gone to the top of the list of places to ski. Apartment was awesome and all niggles dealt with very efficiently by owner and staff at Crestwood. All details given in advance very useful and made for a very easy holiday."
