  • Great Condo, Manager and Owners!

"I have rented several places in Steamboat over the years and this year's vacation was the BEST due to the full package. Mother Nature was good to us; the very comfy condo is in a great location; Kim the manager is extremely detail oriented in not only caring for the condo, but providing lots of detailed information about your trip from the airport, the condo complex and the town. The condo is very nice and accurately reflected in the pictures. The views were awesome. The ski locker was perfect. Kept our skis there. We carried our boots and walked to the base every day. Slightly uphill in the morning, helped by the elevator at One Steamboat Place, and perfectly downhill after a day of skiing. ( I am sure it is easier than the downhill steps in the AM and uphill steps PM to access the transportation circle). The condo is very well-stocked, especially paper products. The kitchen is a small galley, so if you need two chefs in one space this is not the condo for you. Because the kitchen is well-stocked there was limited space for groceries, but we had enough space for us for the week. We used the Wild Plum market for small grocery pick-ups, but learned quickly it is a good place to grab lunch. The mountain lodges charge approx. $17.00 for a sandwich or chili and NO sides, including fries. That might work for a day trip but not a week. The Wild Plum has sandwiches, burgers, quesadilla, for $7 and fries for $1.25. The pizza looked good but we did not try. We phoned in our lunch order at the top of the gondola, skied down, quick walk to store. They have tables for lunch. The location of the condo was as comfortable as the condo itself. The beds, furniture, showers, everything....really!"

  • Majestic Chalet is an understatement! Would love to go back already!

"I don't even know where to start. We had never been to Steamboat before and completely fell in love. We were there Labor Day weekend and it was just cooling off and fall colors were coming out. This house was simply amazing. We had a family reunion with four families and a total of 14 people. If you read nothing else, the best part about this beautiful home was the fact that every family had their own suite bigger than a hotel room (including a bathroom)...and were all connected to this gorgeous home with so many things to do you never had to leave. Bravo! The House: Beautiful, clean, spacious, every single amenity you could imagine, every bed was super comfortable and had excellent sheets. The kitchen was ridiculously large (in a great way!) and well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook. Absolutely loved the outdoor patio, table and grill. Our family of 14 was so happy with all of the space. You could easily get solo time, but also easily have family time. Each bedroom was a master suite (beds and private bathroom) and they were each bigger than any standard hotel room. But let's talk about the POOL, pool table, outdoor basketball hoop and gym. Most impressive. All four were used every single day, multiple times. This house was a home-like retreat where, as long as you had food, you really didn't need to leave. We were all sorry that we didn't stay at least one day longer. Logistics: The location is perfect. We could even walk to the store/shops. (note - they were half a mile away so that might not be walkable to everyone) The famous "Steamboat Barn" was also right by the shops. (Side note: had a wonderful family photo shoot there, too!) Everything was close by. "Downtown" Steamboat was about a 10 min car ride. There are a lot of great restaurants in town. We loved Daniella's Chocolates (almost all were gluten free), as well as Beau Jo's pizza (gf options!). We would go back in a heartbeat! I most highly recommend. 14 thumbs up!"

  • Perfect

"We arrived Dec 27th and stayed till Dec 31st. This was an awesome cabin! Our teens loved seeing the elk everyday as we drove in and out. Grand Lake was about 25 min away and it was such a cool little town. It was our favorite place. We cooked in the cabin and we found everything we needed to cook with and it was great having a washer and dryer. We will definately go back here!!"

  • Ranch Paradise in Steamboat

"My husband and I rented Sweet Air ranch for an entire month this summer and we could have easily stayed for two months...or forever ha! We really hated to leave this equine haven and country paradise with all the amenities and charm you could wish for! The property and views are outstanding and the log home is spectacular...the decor and furniture are lodgey and topnotch, the bedding is luxurious and the kitchen is equipped for any culinary endeavors. But our favorite hangout by far was the back deck. I'm not an early riser but I became one during that month because it was so awesome drinking coffee on the back deck every morning. There are so many fun things to do in town but it was tough to tear ourselves away from the ranch. I especially loved reading on the hanging bed or sitting in the chair hammocks, watching the horses and cattle graze in the fields and trot back to the barn throughout the day. We also enjoyed BBQing, sitting by the fire pit under the stars with a glass of wine, and soaking in the hot tub after a long day. We had several friends and relatives come stay with us to share the rent for the month...everyone absolutely loved it and wants to come back! But they're not the only ones...we also brought our three dogs and three horses and they were in heaven as well! The yard around the house is probably at least an acre so the dogs had plenty of room to run around and play. The dog wash tub in the lower level was a great feature that I'd love to have here at our home. Our horses had a large pasture, incredible hay and Ingrid, the ranch manager, was very helpful and accommodating. It was really fun to watch her school the horses in the round pen and teach her 4H students in the arena. Although we trailered out several times, there was actually wonderful riding right from the ranch and we saw pronghorn antelope on every ride. We feel quite blessed to be able to rent this amazing property and we hope to do it again next summer...it's truly my idea of paradise! Big thanks to Roxanne Lange, the property manager, for making sure that we had everything that we needed, answering any questions that we had, and helping to make our stay such an awesome experience!"
