  • The sound of the river made all the difference.

"We had a great stay. The layout of the home was perfect for our family and the mountain access was exceptional."

  • Return to Steamboat with Moving Mountains

"I’ve planned two trips to Steamboat Springs within the past three years. Both trips I’ve used Moving Mountains, I could not be more pleased with the properties and their customer service. Our family of 13 enjoyed Falconhead Lodge the first time in January, 2013 so much that a return trip was planned for Thanksgiving, 2015. Our family grew in the meantime and had outgrown Falconhead(on one side but not large enough for both units).I decided on Bear Grande for all the space and privacy for each couple as well as the bunk rooms for the children. Erin and Britt with Moving Mountains were so helpful and I probably drove them a little crazy during planning with my excitement. They joined us for dinner one night and we were able to get to know them on a more personal basis. Such great young ladies! We also enjoyed Mr. Maintenance… Ron… he drove us around the first full day we arrived and shared his cell number in case we had any problems with anything in the house. Patrick and John were our shuttle drivers the rest of the week and Victoria and her team came out for the mid-week clean. I’m not sure who does the hiring or training at Moving Mountains but they are all unbelievable. It’s all about customer service and all of these people gave us their “all” during the week we visited Steamboat. We had our lift ticket passes all ready to go thanks to Erin and Britt as well as a team effort for private ski lessons with Allie, Eric and Sasha as instructors! Thank you Moving Mountains for welcoming us back to Steamboat. We loved our home away from home."

  • Fabulous home!

"We stayed at Alpenglow Villa for 16 days in August. The house MORE than met our needs, and I would definitely stay there again. We accommodated my family of 5 along with another family of 6 quite easily. Everyone felt like they had their own space and the kids had room to spread out and play. The house is probably the most well-appointed VRBO house we've ever stayed in.... the kitchen was well-supplied with great appliances, and the beds were comfortable with wonderful bedding. We enjoyed the views of the valley and hot air balloons with our morning coffee, and the sunsets with our evening glass of wine. Wendy, the property manager, was super accommodating and great to work with. HIGHLY recommend for your travels to Steamboat!"

  • Wonderfully surpassed all expectations!

"The week my family of 9 adults and 7 children spent at Edleweiss Chalet was WAY beyond expectations. This rental home is totally top notch in every way. The large rooms and public area of the house gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. All three levels of the home had 10 foot ceilings and large expansive windows. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and private. We could not believe how every comfort was provided. Fluffy bath towels (in abundance), quality sheets and comforters, and beach towels added to our comfort. Comfortable furniture and seating were everywhere! The large laundry room (2 hugh washers and dryers) was very helpful with all the children. The pictures of the home do not do it justice. The Hot Tub was used every day and was large enough that no one was ever crowded. Teens and children LOVED the lower level. The pool table, hot tub, large theatre, were all enjoyed. Many toys, games etc. were also available. The kitchen was amazing! The 3 sinks on the first floor, 6 burner Viking stove and 2 dishwashers  added to the convenience. I could not believe how beautifully the kitchen was stocked with dishes, silverware, pans, and every utensil and lots extras in the pantry. We enjoyed both of the outdoor seating areas....either on the deck in the rear or the patio in the front depending on the location of the sun. Steamboat in the summer was a lot of fun with a large array of things to do. The house is in a very private setting . Checking in and out was done with ease and it was very easy to "work" with Debra. Can't imagine what a luxury it would be to be here in winter for skiing! Please give this property consideration when looking for a family reunion or get-away for a group of adults!"
