  • Return to Steamboat with Moving Mountains

"I’ve planned two trips to Steamboat Springs within the past three years. Both trips I’ve used Moving Mountains, I could not be more pleased with the properties and their customer service. Our family of 13 enjoyed Falconhead Lodge the first time in January, 2013 so much that a return trip was planned for Thanksgiving, 2015. Our family grew in the meantime and had outgrown Falconhead(on one side but not large enough for both units).I decided on Bear Grande for all the space and privacy for each couple as well as the bunk rooms for the children. Erin and Britt with Moving Mountains were so helpful and I probably drove them a little crazy during planning with my excitement. They joined us for dinner one night and we were able to get to know them on a more personal basis. Such great young ladies! We also enjoyed Mr. Maintenance… Ron… he drove us around the first full day we arrived and shared his cell number in case we had any problems with anything in the house. Patrick and John were our shuttle drivers the rest of the week and Victoria and her team came out for the mid-week clean. I’m not sure who does the hiring or training at Moving Mountains but they are all unbelievable. It’s all about customer service and all of these people gave us their “all” during the week we visited Steamboat. We had our lift ticket passes all ready to go thanks to Erin and Britt as well as a team effort for private ski lessons with Allie, Eric and Sasha as instructors! Thank you Moving Mountains for welcoming us back to Steamboat. We loved our home away from home."

  • Spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay in this condo over the 4th of July holiday. There was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults and 3 small kids!) and we felt right at home. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with all the supplies we needed to make our own meals, and there's a grocery store a few blocks away. If your trip to steamboat involves primarily downtown activities, then you cannot beat the location. It's a block of the main street (Lincoln), right across the street from the river, and just steps to countless restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The caveat is of course the noise factor... we slept with our windows open and were woken all 3 nights by people wandering home from bars, and very early one morning by the garbage trucks. This is to be expected when you're right downtown, but something to consider if you're looking for peace and quiet. Jenni was a great host; very reachable and responsive when we contacted her with questions. She was also accommodating in our request for early check-in, and understanding when we had an unexpected late check out. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!"

  • Memorable Holiday

"Had a wonderful 7 nights with family recently. Owners were very helpful in arranging a cot for our granddaughter. Everything we could possibly need was supplied which made it easy to walk straight in. The townhouse was comfortable and we just had to step out the door to be on the ski track to be on the slopes. It made coming home of lunch an easy option. We were incredibly lucky with the snow and had a fabulous time. Thanks for making our time in Steamboat so memorable."

  • Excellent stay! Very convenient and comfortable!

"We have stayed in Steamboat Springs several times during the winter, but this was the first time we stayed a week in the summer months. This property was in an excellent location for us and offered us the comforts of home. The condo is comfortable, well maintained, and in an ideal location for all activities. The kitchen is stocked with items needed for cooking (along with a variety of spices, etc) and also a supply of coffee and tea! We enjoyed having access to a washer and dryer in the condo, and the spacious storage for clothes and other personal items created a home like environment. (you don't have to live out of the suitcase!) We were in the Steamboat area for our son's wedding, and having a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing place to return to each night was great! We will definitely look at staying at this clean and well maintained condo in the future. The owners are very prompt in answering all questions and provided excellent customer service!"
