"We had not been to Steamboat since having kids, and needed a bigger place to accommodate our two children, plus family that would be staying with us a few days. This townhouse was perfect for us. The kids loved the bunk room, we had plenty of towels, toiletries, and a spacious kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils and cookware. The large windows in the living/dining room were lovely to sit by with the fireplace on as the snow fell. The added bonus was being able to use some of the amenities of nearby Trappeurs Crossing condos, including shuttle to anywhere in town, and towel service every few days. The town home is managed by Wyndham, but it was clear a family owns it that has been in Steamboat for years - as evidenced by the pictures on the wall, which were fun to look through. Plenty of board games in the living room coffee table for the kids to play, even snowball makers and sleds in the downstairs closet. The only con I can think of was that the DVD player in the living room was not working properly, so watching Christmas movies in the evening proved to be frustrating, and the bedroom near the mudroom was a little cool, but space heaters and humidifiers are also supplied in the closets. The garage was also a nice feature to keep our car clear of snow and cold. We made lots of memories during our stay - celebrating a 3rd birthday for our son, first time ski lessons for both children, and sledding on the path behind the townhome with cousins. We will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Steamboat."
