  • Nice place, but only sleeps 8

"We stayed at Trappeur's Lodge #1112 in mid-July, 2016. Our group consisted of 6 adults, 2 nine-year-olds and 2 preschoolers. The advertising said "Sleeps 10." However, there were 4 bedrooms that each sleeps 2 (total 8). There were no hide-a-beds in the living room. We did very well because the preschoolers shared their parents room (they got the king - master BRm). But be sure to confirm the number of beds before booking. On the whole this unit was very nice. Not brand new, but nice enough. The master BRm (king bed) was complete with its private bath. 2 of the bedrooms (one with a queen bed & one with 2 twins) had private baths that had the sink in the room and the bathtub & potty in a separate room. VERY convenient. The 4th bathroom was in the hall but immediately next to the 4th bedroom (queen bed). The kitchen was not real big, but was adequate & well equipped. The table plus bar stools at the bar-height counter accommodated us and there were enough folding chairs. Unfortunately the auger for the through-the-door ice maker was not working so we had to dig the ice out of the box. Not real convenient but not a deal-breaker either. I told the management about it so hopefully they'll get it fixed. There was a very large hall at the front door to the unit which included a long bench, lots of hooks for hanging things, and many cubbies so everyone had a place to put their stuff. This was a GREAT feature and the management really ought to include a picture in their advertising. This unit is on the first floor & is very convenient to the amenities center and the indoor/outdoor pool. There is even a locker outside of the unit for skis, luggage, or other bulky items. We had covered garage parking for our 3 vehicles. Washer/dryer were in the basement by the garage, but supplies & machines were free. This was a very nice resort. The flowers and landscaping were beautiful. We enjoyed a complimentary wine & cheese party on Friday evening (2 free drinks per adult & lots of food) and a Saturday afternoon ice cream social. The staff was very accommodating & even helped me find a refrigerator in which I could hide a cake that was for a surprise party later in the day. There is no air conditioning in this unit, but the unit never got overly hot. There were plenty of fans. Evenings cooled off nicely. As long as you don't expect top of the line finishes, you will probably enjoy staying in this unit. We did."

  • Nice Location and very comfortable accomodations

"This condo is a great choice for a Steamboat Vacation. Shuttle Service is fantastic making it very easy to get to the mountain or even downtown. Garage parking is a plus (1 Spot) and the home is very comfortably furnished, nice large kitchen, and beautiful big balcony overlooking the pool. We even saw Moose one morning!"

  • Great stay!

"We arrived after hours, and the staff was extremely helpful getting our information to us as far as our keys and instructions to our condo. The condo was the perfect size, and accessible to everything on the mountain. The apres ski was also a huge plus! Had a lovely trip!!"
