  • A Perfect Vacation -Clean Comfortable & Inexpensive thet

"The owner, Leila, provides the kind of personal service that a management company cannot offer. The unit is clean and well equipped. The bathrooms have ample towels, shampoo, etc. The kitchen appliances make preparing meals for hungry teens a breeze. The kids can get around on their own because there is no need for a car. Thank you Leila for another perfect vacation"

  • Return to Steamboat with Moving Mountains

"I’ve planned two trips to Steamboat Springs within the past three years. Both trips I’ve used Moving Mountains, I could not be more pleased with the properties and their customer service. Our family of 13 enjoyed Falconhead Lodge the first time in January, 2013 so much that a return trip was planned for Thanksgiving, 2015. Our family grew in the meantime and had outgrown Falconhead(on one side but not large enough for both units).I decided on Bear Grande for all the space and privacy for each couple as well as the bunk rooms for the children. Erin and Britt with Moving Mountains were so helpful and I probably drove them a little crazy during planning with my excitement. They joined us for dinner one night and we were able to get to know them on a more personal basis. Such great young ladies! We also enjoyed Mr. Maintenance… Ron… he drove us around the first full day we arrived and shared his cell number in case we had any problems with anything in the house. Patrick and John were our shuttle drivers the rest of the week and Victoria and her team came out for the mid-week clean. I’m not sure who does the hiring or training at Moving Mountains but they are all unbelievable. It’s all about customer service and all of these people gave us their “all” during the week we visited Steamboat. We had our lift ticket passes all ready to go thanks to Erin and Britt as well as a team effort for private ski lessons with Allie, Eric and Sasha as instructors! Thank you Moving Mountains for welcoming us back to Steamboat. We loved our home away from home."

  • Gorgeous., warm , lovely place!!

"My family cannot believe how amazing the house was!!!! This place was amazing!!!!!! We walked/jogged up the road across the street from the condo every single day.. We met all of the people in the homes above., and got to know their dogs.. The pool and jacuzzi area was so relaxing.. Never busy., and simply inviting and calming.. We grilled a couple nights and used all the puzzles that were supplied.. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, so kids and us had plenty of space... Grocery stores., and the Steamboat Village 4 minutes away... What a wonderful, wonderful place!!! Thank you for a most amazing time!!!!!"

  • Great Condo, Manager and Owners!

"I have rented several places in Steamboat over the years and this year's vacation was the BEST due to the full package. Mother Nature was good to us; the very comfy condo is in a great location; Kim the manager is extremely detail oriented in not only caring for the condo, but providing lots of detailed information about your trip from the airport, the condo complex and the town. The condo is very nice and accurately reflected in the pictures. The views were awesome. The ski locker was perfect. Kept our skis there. We carried our boots and walked to the base every day. Slightly uphill in the morning, helped by the elevator at One Steamboat Place, and perfectly downhill after a day of skiing. ( I am sure it is easier than the downhill steps in the AM and uphill steps PM to access the transportation circle). The condo is very well-stocked, especially paper products. The kitchen is a small galley, so if you need two chefs in one space this is not the condo for you. Because the kitchen is well-stocked there was limited space for groceries, but we had enough space for us for the week. We used the Wild Plum market for small grocery pick-ups, but learned quickly it is a good place to grab lunch. The mountain lodges charge approx. $17.00 for a sandwich or chili and NO sides, including fries. That might work for a day trip but not a week. The Wild Plum has sandwiches, burgers, quesadilla, for $7 and fries for $1.25. The pizza looked good but we did not try. We phoned in our lunch order at the top of the gondola, skied down, quick walk to store. They have tables for lunch. The location of the condo was as comfortable as the condo itself. The beds, furniture, showers, everything....really!"
