  • Love love love Bearadise!

"An exceptional mountain cabin! We were looking for a comfortable place to get away from the craziness of the city for a week, and this cabin turned out to be perfect place for us. It had all the amenities we could ask for and then some. Being able to garage for our vehicle was the icing on the cake. Just 15 minutes from the Town of Grand Lake, it's close enough for convenience, but far enough away to feel secluded. The neighboring cabins are pretty close, but it still felt private. Gorgeous hiking trails, horseback riding and boat rentals are all within a 20 minute drive. The cabin's furnishings are well above average for a rental and the abundant bear décor is absolutely adorable! And oh the views! Whether sunny or cloudy, morning or evening, the views from the deck of the mountains and lake are simply spectacular. On a clear night, the stars and Milky Way seem close enough to touch. There were a couple minor maintenance hiccups during our stay, but the manager was wonderful in handling immediately. Bearadise was the best cabin experience for us to date."

  • Wonderful Stay - Mardi Gras 2016

"Our group really enjoyed staying in this house for the Mardi Gras break. It is actually the finest skiing accommodation I've ever stayed in - and I've stayed in a bunch. Our group included four adults & four children between 5 & 7. We didn't use one bedroom so at least two more could have been added to our party. The house is two levels and spacious with a second living room downstairs which allowed our group to "spread out" so we weren't on top of each other. Although the photographs of Sunrise are beautiful, the house exceeded our expectations. It is larger than we thought it would be. We had friends over for dinner and the kids "disappeared" to the downstairs living room. Clearly the Owner and their Architect spent a lot of time together during design of the house as everything is in the right place. This is not a spec. house, the kitchen is well stocked with all the right tools equipment, finishes such as plumbing fixtures, door hardware, appliances, etc. are high-end, and the Sonos system was great. Hot tub, fire pit and gas grill all were used and worked fine. We arrived to a clean house with all equipment and appliances working like new. The neighborhood is quiet and the views from the kitchen/living area are magnificent. Transportation to and from Peak 8 base is easy enough. The shuttle stop is approximately 250 yards away (flat walk). Town is a shuttle ride from the same stop. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes, although we found them to be inconsistent - particularly at night. Buses and cabs in Breck are not what you would expect. For the price, it's hard to imagine a better value than Sunrise. If and when we return to Breck we'll stay here."

  • Phenomenal Family Ski House

"We had the opportunity to have skied Summit County again while spending our time off of the mountain in what is the best house available for families. It not only was impeccably designed, but also had ample room and amenities for every part of our extended family. To boot, the house is conveniently located just steps from the base of peak eight."

  • Excellent location and value

"This was our first time staying at the condo, hopefully it won't be our last. Our family consists of me, my husband and our 5 & 3 year old children. First of all, It was quite nice to find the room on the same floor as the main entrance to the building. It makes for quick work unloading the car! Next, as the owner states, this is clearly their second home. It was great to find the kitchen stocked with the basic (and more) necessities. There's nothing more frustrating than renting a place with a kitchen, bringing your own food, then discovering you need salt or ketchup, or creamer. I never assume those things are included, but it is nice that they allow use of those items. I assume some items have been left by previous renters as well. Pay it forward. Each room has a tv with limited stations (you are in the mountains after all) and there is a selection of DVD movies to choose from in addition to a large Disney VHS collection as well. My children loved picking out a movie to watch from the bunk beds! They also have an assortment of board games, puzzles and books to help you unwind. There are 2 balconies, but they were covered in snow during our stay, but I'll bet it would be a nice place to have a morning cup of coffee, or after dinner drink. There is also a nice wood burning fireplace with instructions, kindling, wood and tools necessary to make a cozy night. The location is up Wildernest Rd. We went to Keystone Resort during our stay and it only took us 25 minutes to get there. We were in line to be first on the lifts that day! The city of Silverthorne and Dillon both offer plenty in the way of restaurants and shops. It's just a quick ride down the hill and you're in the midst of Silverthorne. There must also be a shuttle that goes around Wildernest Loop because there always many people waiting with ski/snowboard gear. There is a stop just across the main street from this condo. All in all -- great place to stay, highly recommended!"
