"We are group from Japan. Jim is good person and his respose is very quick. He did prepare the Japanse food which it hard to get in Frisco. This cond is very covinient because it is close from shuttle stop and from main street. Also it is well maintained and clean. We hope to stay next year too."

  • Cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for a getaway.

"This property is just perfect for a family of 4-6 (and possibly more), and could not be in a more convenient neighborhood. We are skiers and mountain bikers, and are therefore frequent visitors to Winter Park, both the summer and winter. We decided that this location was much more preferable to renting a unit in Winter Park, due to the "get away from it all" feeling of the unit. The beds are roomy (one queen plus a full size bunk bed), and the kitchen is great for cooking family meals. The property is situated in an area filled with walking trails, and the bike ride up to the property from US 40 offered a great challenge! We felt as though we were off the beaten path a bit, but the property is right up the street from a great Safeway and an absolutely fantastic hardware store (Murdoch's)! We thought we were going to have trouble parking because we brought two cars, but we discovered ample additional parking right across from our unit. The owner was very responsive by email when I had a question. Moreover, the owner keeps a notebook filled with suggested trail hikes and rides, favorite restaurants, and other suggested activities. Even though we come often, we definitely appreciated the suggestions and were able to discover a new trail we hadn't yet hiked. We would definitely rent this property again! Thanks so very much."

  • Great winter escape

"We stayed with another family and had plenty of room - 5 adults, 3 kids - to rest after a full day's skiing or to talk and game into the night. We loved the high ceilings and the frog mariachi band sculptures. The "hunting lodge decor," as described by other reviewers, was fairly typical, at least from our own prior experiences with slopeside vacation rentals. When we arrived the condo was tidy and well kept, as expected. Extra keys were available in the condo. Next to the heated garage, there is a locker room for skis and snowboards. The wifi appears to be provided by the condo association and not managed by individual owners. Although at night the connection was quite slow, the transmission rates were fine in the early morning and mid-day. The kitchen is on the smaller side, as noted by prior reviewers, but quite well stocked with all the accoutrements and cooking and dining ware needed to put together home-cooked meals every day. Main Street, Breckenridge, and its shops and restaurants are a short walk down 4 O'Clock Road. For those not inclined to walk, the free town shuttle has a stop no more than 50 yards away from Tyra IV/Riverbend at the Snowflake lift/Blue Sky Condo building. The exercise facility is good (I've used it during past visits) and includes a stationary/recumbent cycle as well as weight machine. The condo is located over the outdoor hot tub which could have been bothersome had users become particularly boisterous - I think there are condo regulations regarding noise later in the night. The owner, John, was responsive, courteous and prompt in his communications. We definitely would return, and hope to stay here again next year!"

  • Great Place for the money

"We bring our daughters to Silverthorne every Nov. for skiing. We have stayed at several different Condos. Katherine's Condo at Timber Ridge was the best value by far. It's decorated very nicely and has everything you would need during your stay. The employees who were working at the complex were very friendly and super helpful. Katherine was very accommodating as well. We had a large gathering over Thanksgiving and used the clubhouse and it worked out great. It is quite a drive up the mountain to get to it so if you are going during snow season it would be a good idea to have a vehicle with either all wheel or four wheel drive. Would recommend this condo to a family of four or less for sure."
