  • Great for hiking in East Vail

"This location is great for summer hiking. Besides all the places you can drive to around Vail, you can walk several great hikes from out this house's door. (Gore Creek trail, Deluge Lake trail, Bighorn Creek for the adventurous, or the paths along the hills or the walking path/bike ride to Vail) The house has nice facilities (clean and modern kitchen, bathrooms, TV and WiFi) and a hot tub to return to after hiking/skiing. The owner was very friendly and helpful."

  • Stunning setting for a family get together

"This home was perfect for our large family get together. It was beautifully landscaped outside and well decorated inside. It was just as the photos portrayed, large spacious rooms with high ceilings. We had 9 adults and 2 little ones. The five bedrooms gave everyone privacy, while the large family room accommodated all for card games, TV watching or just gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and there was seating for 12, placing the 2 tables in the dining area together. Due to the open layout of these areas, no one ever felt left out of the conversation... We never even used the second family room on the lower level. Leslie and John thought of everything: from hints on how to bake at high altitudes, recommendations for dining or carry out, things to do in Vail, operation of the hot tub, etc. Summer is the ideal season to visit, if you don't ski. There are plenty of activities to check out (walk, hike, bike, golf, raft, shop, eat, concerts, farmer's markets, the local Bighorn Park, Piney River Ranch, etc.). This house in East Vail is on a quiet cul-de-sac but it is a short drive into Vail, and close to a bus stop on the route into town. You won't be disappointed in renting this property. It was spotless and well maintained. The stream running along side the house, all the Aspen trees quaking, and the view of the mountains remind me of what I love about vacationing in Colorado. Leslie was also prompt in answering questions and a pleasure to deal with."

  • A Great Summer Getaway!

"Danie was great, we booked last minute and she was very helpful and easy to work with. We really liked the fact that they don't have a cleaning fee or a booking fee at this time. My wife and I spent a week at the condo and really enjoyed our time. The condo is very nice, kitchen and bathroom upgrades are really well done. Kitchen is also well stocked with a great supply of spices, and condiments. (We BBQ'd steak and even had spices for that!) We used the pool and fitness center. All well equipped. (There is an extra fee for that.) Since we stayed in the summer, the buses were only running every hour so we chose to drive to Vail parking garages (free) instead of waiting for buses. One guest mentioned that they liked to sleep with bedroom sliding door open to listen to the stream but you can hear semis on I-70 occasionally over the stream sounds. (In the winter this probably isn't even an issue because of doors being closed.) Overall, a great week and relaxing place to stay! Thank you Danie!"

  • Wonderful hosts and home

"My family and I were in Vail for a wonderful long weekend at the Vail Dance Festival. Our vacation was made complete by being able to stay in Stacy's beautiful East Vail home (with 5 adults and 2 children fitting very comfortably). The house was remarkably well cared for and well appointed -- with a gourmet kitchen, amazing bathrooms including a steam shower, great mud room, and more. A lot of thought was put into everything a guest would need. Because homes are so much easier with children, I've rented a number of homes in different locations. This was our most comfortable stay and our most gracious host. Stacy was so easy to correspond with, super responsive, and offered up recommendations on where to eat and what to do with kids. When she found out I had small children, she was so kind to offer to bring supplies out of storage so I wouldn't have to bring them, like a high chair, pack and play, and hiking backpack. Stacy is clearly an owner who loves to host and this house is clearly her family's home that is being shared with guests like me -- she and the home were warm and inviting. And the location was also great with an easy shuttle ride into Vail Village when we didn't feel like driving. We'd love to return to Stacy's home again! Highly recommend to anyone."
