  • Great Getaway!

"Went up with another family to celebrate birthdays as a long weekend getaway, had a great time, spacious, all the comforts of home, enjoyed the hot tub & hearing the river was very relaxing. Great central locale, took the kids fishing, riding bikes, played at the neighborhood park, everyone came back saying they would go again, I would recommend this place without hesitation. The best hidden secret are the trails that allow you to walk from the home to the shopping center crossing the river on a pedestrian bridge, makes for a nice walk, enjoying the outdoors to go fetch breakfast/coffee!"

  • Perfect!

"We went on a friends trip to Vail and this house was perfect for us! I've been vacationing in Vail for 30 years and stayed in many places. This house was clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay here again. The location was great, just a few minutes from the mountain. The high ceilings make the place feel very spacious and we loved the wrap around deck and outdoor speakers to listen to while in the hot tub after a long ski day. The master suite is enormous and I slept like a rock in the temperpedic queen bed downstairs which also had its own door to the hot tub. The owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She also gave us a heads up to watch our flights because it was snowing the day we left. Overall this place was amazing!"

  • Wonderful Condo and Location!

"Our family stayed for a week during March in this wonderful condo at The Vail Spa, and we had a great experience! We found this particular condo packed with amenities and far superior to many others we have rented over the years in Lionshead! This home is spacious, very clean, and well equipped with all that was needed for our stay and for cooking meals in the modern updated kitchen. It is nicely decorated with comfortable upscale furniture and beddding and offered lovely views of the mountain! The location is great; only a short walk to Lionshead Village, the Gondola, and great restaurants; and when we wanted to venture into Vail Village, we rode the free bus which stops just across the street from the complex. We had 3 children with us who did not mind the walk to the ski school or the gondola at all! The indoor pool was a real plus for the kids! The owners of this home made the reservation process extremely easy and were very attentive to all our needs during our stay. I also have only praise for the staff at The Vail Spa who went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant time at their property! We plan to return, and I would highly recommend this home for your ski vacation!"

  • Comfy house in West Vail great for family & dog friendly + hot tub/decks

"Enjoyed our stay in the Valley View Unit. Fully equipped kitchen, clean & nice hot tub and plenty of space for our family of 4, comfortable sofa, good wifi.... Having the washer/dryer was also a big plus! Convenient location to Vail Village and other locations in Colorado and had a nice walkable neighborhood too. The unit was overall clean, but definitely had a slight pet odor - I"m assuming from the carpet upstairs. I had to buy an air freshener for upstairs to help. There is not much air circulation in the upstairs bedroom. We opened windows downstairs to air it out and it was fine. Overall - still a great place to stay. Really wish there had been a guest book w/ suggested things to do in area as we had to work hard to find things to do or suggested outfitters. Here's what we did: a Timberline raft tour on the Shoshone/Colorado, kayak tour on Lake Dillon, Adventure Ridge in Vail - day tripped to Aspen (Maroon Bells hike & lunch) and hiked Hanging Lake in Glenwood, hiked near Frisco/had lunch there too. If we had more time I would suggest the downhill bike from Breckenridge to Frisco. We cooked most days - but found the Northside Grab & Go as a great little place for breakfast, sandwiches, burgers & coffee! GO there it's a little gem."
