  • Perfect Place for a Short or Extended Stay in Vail (Part 1)

"I stayed in this beautiful unit for almost three months, which allowed me to become very familiar with this condominium and the surrounding areas. I stayed as for long as I did because I have a complex orthopedic condition, and came to have surgery and do physical therapy at the Steadman Clinic, one of the top orthopedic institutions in the world. For the first two months after surgery, I had to spend hours a day with my leg elevated, and as a result, spent a great deal of time in the unit. For the last almost month, I was able to get out more and take advantage of some of the many of things to do and see in the area, and was better able to take advantage of the great location of this unit.   The unit itself is very comfortable. It has one bedroom, a bunk room, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a den. In the following paragraphs I will provide more details on each of these rooms, and share things I particularly liked.   The bedroom has a large, comfortable king bed. I spent many hours with my leg elevated in that bed, and appreciated not only the comfort of the bed, but also the TV in the bedroom. It is perfectly situated to be able to watch TV while in bed, and has many cable channels. The bedroom also has a large armoire that serves as a closet, a chest of drawers with three drawers, two alarm clocks, one on each side of the bed, a couple of luggage racks, and a power strip to accommodate one or two personal electronic devices.   I did not spend much time in the bunk room, except to exit to the pool. It has two beds, one on top of the other, as well as a TV that is attached to the lower bed. The beds would be perfect for two children, although they could probably accommodate mid-sized adult guests (5'10" or shorter). The bunk room can also be used for extra storage, if you do not need the beds.   The bathroom is a good size, and has a spacious walk-in shower with a seat, a sink, and toilet. Like the rest of the unit, it is recently remodeled, and is attractive. The sink has sufficient cabinet room to accommodate several people's toiletries. I brought extra items for my extended stay, and still had a lot of extra room. There is also a hair dryer, so you will not need to bring your own.   (Note: This review is being submitted in multiple parts due to this site's review character restrictions)."

  • Great for a big family (or two!)

"We stayed here with another family for 3 nights in July. It was a great space, very clean and well maintained, and centrally located. The use of key-coded doors meant we didn't have to worry about 8 people sharing 2 keys. The kitchen was in great shape and well stocked. One thing to note for the summer months: The two upstairs bedrooms are well air conditioned. The lower level and downstairs bedrooms are not (but have fans). That generally means you need to sleep with the windows open to keep it cool, which may be a problem for those who need complete quiet to sleep."

  • Vail Mountain View Residences Unit 104

"My husband and I have stayed at this property twice in the summer. This summer when we decided to return to Vail , there was no doubt as to where we would stay. The condo is so well organized and has impeccable interiors: two full baths, a bedroom, top of the line kitchen, perfect dining room/family room lay out and hardwood floors. A beautiful view of the creek and lush wooded areas really addw to the ambiance. The location is ideal as we could walk immediately into the middle of town as well as to the Ford Center to enjoy the Vail Valley Dance Festival. Shopping, restaurants, bike rentals and hikes up the mountain were an easy walk...5-10 minutes depending on which activity we chose. The indoor garage was a real bonus as the parking space is right outside a door that leads to the unit. A car is only necessary to drive out to Edwards or Avon for more sightseeing or bike rides. This condo is literally on top of everything! The owners are genuinely nice people and even accommodated a later departure for us when we learned our flight was cancelled. We will certainly be back!"

"Great condo - just the perfect size for a small family or group of friends. Beautiful amenities and loved that the staff was so friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat out close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!"
