"We went on a friends trip to Vail and this house was perfect for us! I've been vacationing in Vail for 30 years and stayed in many places. This house was clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay here again. The location was great, just a few minutes from the mountain. The high ceilings make the place feel very spacious and we loved the wrap around deck and outdoor speakers to listen to while in the hot tub after a long ski day. The master suite is enormous and I slept like a rock in the temperpedic queen bed downstairs which also had its own door to the hot tub. The owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She also gave us a heads up to watch our flights because it was snowing the day we left. Overall this place was amazing!"

"The house was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for - a quintessential log cabin with all the bells and whistles. There was more than enough room for our party of 8. We cooked, enjoyed the hot tub, made a fire every night, and sipped coffee on one of the many decks/balconies each morning. Such an incredible trip. Thank you!"

"West Vail is a great part of the Vail Valley. It receives lots of sunlight, and is a wonderful place to be located to take part of all that Vail has to offer.
If you have looked at the pictures of this home, you will know it has a unique layout. This is its greatest asset, in that it has a wide range of nooks and crannies, with a bohemian flare. Relax in the Grecian inspired loggia before you take a sauna, or dip into the jacuzzi. Play some ping-pong after dinner!
There are some terrific views of the mountains from the sunlit cupola room, a favorite of ours to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sun rise to the east. These same mountains radiate with the evening 'alpine glow', something not to be missed! There are two gas-lit fireplaces that add extra warmth to those cold winter nights.
Rent this property for its unique character and great location (grocery stores and restaurants at bottom of hill). Do not have more than the allotted two cars, you will get a ticket if you park in the street, even for a brief period of time. If you are skiers, we park for free at the Bear lot in Beaver Creek and take their free bus to the lift."

Comfy house in West Vail great for family & dog friendly + hot tub/decks
"Enjoyed our stay in the Valley View Unit. Fully equipped kitchen, clean & nice hot tub and plenty of space for our family of 4, comfortable sofa, good wifi.... Having the washer/dryer was also a big plus! Convenient location to Vail Village and other locations in Colorado and had a nice walkable neighborhood too. The unit was overall clean, but definitely had a slight pet odor - I"m assuming from the carpet upstairs. I had to buy an air freshener for upstairs to help. There is not much air circulation in the upstairs bedroom. We opened windows downstairs to air it out and it was fine. Overall - still a great place to stay. Really wish there had been a guest book w/ suggested things to do in area as we had to work hard to find things to do or suggested outfitters. Here's what we did: a Timberline raft tour on the Shoshone/Colorado, kayak tour on Lake Dillon, Adventure Ridge in Vail - day tripped to Aspen (Maroon Bells hike & lunch) and hiked Hanging Lake in Glenwood, hiked near Frisco/had lunch there too. If we had more time I would suggest the downhill bike from Breckenridge to Frisco. We cooked most days - but found the Northside Grab & Go as a great little place for breakfast, sandwiches, burgers & coffee! GO there it's a little gem."
