  • Comfy house in West Vail great for family & dog friendly + hot tub/decks

"Enjoyed our stay in the Valley View Unit. Fully equipped kitchen, clean & nice hot tub and plenty of space for our family of 4, comfortable sofa, good wifi.... Having the washer/dryer was also a big plus! Convenient location to Vail Village and other locations in Colorado and had a nice walkable neighborhood too. The unit was overall clean, but definitely had a slight pet odor - I"m assuming from the carpet upstairs. I had to buy an air freshener for upstairs to help. There is not much air circulation in the upstairs bedroom. We opened windows downstairs to air it out and it was fine. Overall - still a great place to stay. Really wish there had been a guest book w/ suggested things to do in area as we had to work hard to find things to do or suggested outfitters. Here's what we did: a Timberline raft tour on the Shoshone/Colorado, kayak tour on Lake Dillon, Adventure Ridge in Vail - day tripped to Aspen (Maroon Bells hike & lunch) and hiked Hanging Lake in Glenwood, hiked near Frisco/had lunch there too. If we had more time I would suggest the downhill bike from Breckenridge to Frisco. We cooked most days - but found the Northside Grab & Go as a great little place for breakfast, sandwiches, burgers & coffee! GO there it's a little gem."

  • Colorado Living

"The house was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for - a quintessential log cabin with all the bells and whistles. There was more than enough room for our party of 8. We cooked, enjoyed the hot tub, made a fire every night, and sipped coffee on one of the many decks/balconies each morning. Such an incredible trip. Thank you!"

  • Great place to relax by the river

"We spent 5 days in Vail over a long July 4th holiday and stayed at the Timbercreek 8B townhome. We found the log cabin design and decor to be very enjoyable. Master was great, but 2nd bedroom was quite a bit smaller and only had a sink and toilet. Had to go downstairs to shower. Not a deal breaker as this unit served 4 adults well, and we would stay there again. Our only wish was that there had been a bigger deck, with dining table and chairs, so we really could have enjoyed the beautiful weather and the roaring river right behind this unit!!"

  • Larkspur Lodge gets an A++!

"A group of 8 of us stayed at Larkspur Lodge in mid-July. The cabin was exactly as described and a perfect fit for either 4 couples or a for 2 families! The large decks were perfect for the summer weather and the grill was in great condition. We had an absolute blast! The bus stop is less than a minute walk from the cabin and the ride into Vail Village takes just around 10 minutes with all the stops. This is a wonderful vacation spot and we'll be coming again in the future!!"
