"This property is just perfect for a family of 4-6 (and possibly more), and could not be in a more convenient neighborhood. We are skiers and mountain bikers, and are therefore frequent visitors to Winter Park, both the summer and winter. We decided that this location was much more preferable to renting a unit in Winter Park, due to the "get away from it all" feeling of the unit. The beds are roomy (one queen plus a full size bunk bed), and the kitchen is great for cooking family meals. The property is situated in an area filled with walking trails, and the bike ride up to the property from US 40 offered a great challenge! We felt as though we were off the beaten path a bit, but the property is right up the street from a great Safeway and an absolutely fantastic hardware store (Murdoch's)! We thought we were going to have trouble parking because we brought two cars, but we discovered ample additional parking right across from our unit.
The owner was very responsive by email when I had a question. Moreover, the owner keeps a notebook filled with suggested trail hikes and rides, favorite restaurants, and other suggested activities. Even though we come often, we definitely appreciated the suggestions and were able to discover a new trail we hadn't yet hiked. We would definitely rent this property again! Thanks so very much."
