  • Great location for family ski trip!

"Close to Winter Park & Granby Ranch for skiing & tubing. Love the hot tubs, pool & athletic center. Restaurants & groceries just at the bottom of the hill. Lots of room, great set-up, clean and comfortable!"

  • Lookout Point is Awesome!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lookout Point. Valerie (the owner), communicates with you as soon as you put through the reservation. She is always there to answer any questions you might have and gives you her personal cell phone number. Absolutely awesome! We were in Winter Park in February for a ski trip. Lookout Point made a great base of operations for our trip. It is so nice to be able to pull into the garage each time you arrive. The garage leads directly into the kitchen so very easy to unload the groceries. From there it opens into a very nice family room. The family room has a flat screen and sound system for your entertainment. Have kids or just people that can't agree on what to watch on TV? Simply head downstairs to the second family room where you will find a another flat screen with a gaming console as well. We were not traveling with children but if you are the bunk room, that will easily sleep 6 is going to be there favorite place. Oh don't forget the hot tub that is right outside the back door! I can tell you after a long day on the slopes that thing is incredible! We cooked every evening meal at the house and let me tell you anything we needed was there. We used the grill several evenings. It is easily located just off the main family room just outside on the deck and close to the kitchen. Hey there is even a Keurig coffee machine with coffee! FYI there is a hidden switch on the back. I won't tell you how long it took me to figure that out! This place has not one, but two master suites with private baths awaiting you. If you draw the short straw and don't get the upstairs master take solace in the fact that you get heated floors in your bathroom! Upstairs visitors just have to suffer with the cold floor. I almost forget about the laundry facilities downstairs that are great if you need to dry out your ski pants or gloves. Maybe you just like to do laundry on vacation? This place can accommodate! Really this place is awesome, clean, newer and laid out great for your time away from home! If you book the Lookout Point you will not be disappointed! Thanks Valerie & Mackenzie for the great accommodations! We will be back!"

  • Exactly what we wanted-plenty of beds, great view, easy access.

"Hot water was nonexistent, either for the showers or the sink. Showers makes sense as there were many people, but no hot water for the sink for dishes was a pain. Also, the pictures made it appear that it was more isolated than it was. We did not have any issues, but we were looking forward to being by ourselves and having space around the house. The staff were helpful in finding hikes and ensuring check-in/out was problem free. Overall great property."

  • Great location

"Pro's: Excellent location, close to bus stop for mountain access, very well appointed in terms of kitchen equipment etc, spacious and good to have washer & dryer in the unit, accommodated our group of 7 no problem (4 adults, 3 kids), we left some gear behind and Andy was fantastic at making sure we got it back, local guy who delivers wood was a gem. Con's: We agreed with another reviewer in that it kind of felt like the owners had just stepped out to go to the store and wasn't overly clean."
