  • Cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for a getaway.

"This property is just perfect for a family of 4-6 (and possibly more), and could not be in a more convenient neighborhood. We are skiers and mountain bikers, and are therefore frequent visitors to Winter Park, both the summer and winter. We decided that this location was much more preferable to renting a unit in Winter Park, due to the "get away from it all" feeling of the unit. The beds are roomy (one queen plus a full size bunk bed), and the kitchen is great for cooking family meals. The property is situated in an area filled with walking trails, and the bike ride up to the property from US 40 offered a great challenge! We felt as though we were off the beaten path a bit, but the property is right up the street from a great Safeway and an absolutely fantastic hardware store (Murdoch's)! We thought we were going to have trouble parking because we brought two cars, but we discovered ample additional parking right across from our unit. The owner was very responsive by email when I had a question. Moreover, the owner keeps a notebook filled with suggested trail hikes and rides, favorite restaurants, and other suggested activities. Even though we come often, we definitely appreciated the suggestions and were able to discover a new trail we hadn't yet hiked. We would definitely rent this property again! Thanks so very much."

  • Delightful townhouse

"I was sold on the view from the living room when I booked the property and I was not disappointed. The townhouse is spacious, comfortable and equipped with just about everything vacationers might need, as well as some unexpected but welcome extras, such as a first aid box and a selection of games and some toys suitable for the youngest guest. With an eight month old baby and a four year old in our group, these extras proved useful. While the property is suitable for a family party like ours, it is decorated and furnished with the quality and taste that reminded me of an upscale bed and breakfast rather than a renta that should please the most discriminating adults. We enjoyed the quiet location, along with the convenience of being close to Winter Park and its variety of activities, as well as the proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall, I was absolutely delighted with this property and would recommend it unreservedly."

  • Felt Like Home

"We stayed the first week of April 2016 for a family ski vacation and loved the condo. It has a very comfortable and welcoming feel to it. It isn't anything fancy so if you are into brand new everything and granite then look elsewhere. However, if you are like us and only care if a place is clean, functional, and comfortable then this is definitely the place for you. We felt like it was home from the first day. You can tell the owner cares about the guests that stay here. The place is stocked with games, dvds, and cookware as well as a book with advice/brochures about the surrounding area. There were spices and some dry/canned food left in the cupboards that we made use of. There were also some basic toiletries and laundry soap left in the closet. You may want to check in and see what is there before grocery shopping. There is a Safeway about 1 mile away, also a huge plus for our family as we atet in the condo to save money. Nice big table that seats six comfortable, eight in a pinch. The in-unit washer and dryer was great for our family of five and allowed us to pack light. The free shuttle for the slopes is a very short walk from the front door. We never made use of it as we had a car. The rec center has a pool and is a short walk away, our kids loved the pool, we loved the hot tub! Possible cons that did not bother us but might you: The parking lot is dirt and really muddy when the snow melts or it rains. We walked through snow on the way tot he condo door to clean our shoes and took our shoes off at the door to the condo. The condo is the style where you walk in and then either walk up a flight of stairs to the main floor or down a flight of stairs to the bedrooms. There is also a flight of stairs from the main floor leading to the loft. We don't mind stairs so not a big deal for us. We actually prefer to stay in Fraser vs. Winter Park. It is a very short drive/bus ride from Fraser to the ski hill in WP and nice to get away from the craziness of the ski hill and crowds in WP. Plus, you can get a lot more condo for the money in Fraser. The owner was polite and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again!"

  • Magnificent

"A wonderful home that exceeded expectations of my friends and I. There were plenty of beds for the eight of us. The location was close to both Fraser and Winter Park. Thanks for opening your home to us."
