  • Close to everything but secluded and quiet

"As with everything, location, location, location. We were only minutes from everything we wanted to do, yet this beautiful and comfortable home is secluded, quiet and inviting. Plenty of space for our group, (8 adults/4 kids), comfortable beds, plenty of privacy when you want it and room to come together for meals and game time. Multi-level deck provides opportunity to view the mountains, wildlife, sunsets (probably sunrises but we were too comfortable in bed to get up and see). Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare large meals. If this home fits your schedule, DON'T PASS IT UP!"

  • Cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for a getaway.

"This property is just perfect for a family of 4-6 (and possibly more), and could not be in a more convenient neighborhood. We are skiers and mountain bikers, and are therefore frequent visitors to Winter Park, both the summer and winter. We decided that this location was much more preferable to renting a unit in Winter Park, due to the "get away from it all" feeling of the unit. The beds are roomy (one queen plus a full size bunk bed), and the kitchen is great for cooking family meals. The property is situated in an area filled with walking trails, and the bike ride up to the property from US 40 offered a great challenge! We felt as though we were off the beaten path a bit, but the property is right up the street from a great Safeway and an absolutely fantastic hardware store (Murdoch's)! We thought we were going to have trouble parking because we brought two cars, but we discovered ample additional parking right across from our unit. The owner was very responsive by email when I had a question. Moreover, the owner keeps a notebook filled with suggested trail hikes and rides, favorite restaurants, and other suggested activities. Even though we come often, we definitely appreciated the suggestions and were able to discover a new trail we hadn't yet hiked. We would definitely rent this property again! Thanks so very much."

  • Exceptional Value

"We had a great time in Winter Park and Grand Lake. This condo was one of the reasons. Having the river right close in the front yard gave us a rush of pleasure every time we returned from our adventures and the condo always welcomed us with open arms and a deep sense of comfort. Loved having two bathroom sinks...only perceived shortcoming was the tight fit of the toilet/bath area - but it was still very do-able. The kitchen was outfitted with all of the necessary accoutrements. The location provided excellent walk-ability to everywhere in town. We especially liked the back paths to the Vasquez Creek trail that brought us into the city park. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Diana!"

  • Wonderful Stay

"We were 3 generations and a black lab staying at the house and we all loved it! Layout of bedrooms was very convenient and the living area upstairs was open and casual and complete with everything imaginable for the kitchen, oodles of movies and games, a nice fireplace which we never had time to use, and a great doggie door which got a great deal of use! The deck off the living area upstairs looks wonderful, but was under about 30 inches of snow. Hope to come back for a summer visit some time so we can enjoy it. The outdoor pool and hot tub were great, and the facility was very nice and clean and complete with work-out room and changing facilities. In minus 20 degrees, we appreciated having to go only about 10 steps from the hot tub to get inside the building! Sorry we were able to enjoy it only once while we were there. The home location was very pretty and very private, due to the trees, though there are other homes around. It is up a long, steep hill behind the Safeway, so a car was needed, especially in the winter weather. Might be walkable in summer. We never tried the shuttle service to the slopes, but did see the bus pass by the house frequently. We will definitely call Eric if we are able to visit Winter Park again. Many thanks!"
