  • PERFECT !!

"The home is fantastic and has everything you will need to have a great stay in Winter Park. The view of the resort and ski runs was amazing, especially in the morning and evenings. Owner is very quick to respond to questions and was a pleasure to work with. Easily fit 6 adults and 3 kids. We all loved the hot tub, although I think the chemicals need to be adjusted a little. Great way to loosen up after a day of activity. If you have kids of any age, highly recommend heading over to the winter park resort for summer time activities. Two words for you..."Alpine Slide". Absolutely worth it and spend the extra money to get an unlimited pass for the day. You may only do some of the activities once due to time, but being able to do whatever you want and however many times you want was awesome. This property is a stone's throw from the resort across the highway and just a few minutes from the town. If you don't stay here, you are missing out !!"

  • A Winter Park Wonder

"An ideal family apartment well situated for easy access to both Winter Park ski resort and town. The half-hourly shuttle was superb, our kids measured that it was 56 paces from the front door to the shuttle stop. We ended up using the car mainly to store the ski’s in overnight and the run to the Safeway in Fraser (5-mins away). At the weekend, the Beaver Village Condominium’s shuttle ran additional services to the base of the mountain. We couldn’t really fault the apartment. It is exactly as it is shown in the photos and it is very well equipped. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (and for the 8 of us when our friends from Fort Collins came to join us for the weekend). Importantly, it was warm and there was a good supply of hot water for showers, despite my daughters doing her best to empty the hot water tank while she sang her heart out to whatever is supposed to be popular music today. We visited the restaurants of Winter Park every other night. I don’t know whether it was because we stood out because we were English but absolutely everybody we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. On the other nights, we cooked in the apartment, the kitchen had all that we needed to cater for the 8 of us. When it was just the 4 of us there was enough crockery and cutlery that we only needed to turn the dishwasher on a couple of times during our stay. The laundry room in the club house was handy (and relatively cheap). It was quite handy to disappear from the kids for an hour or so, sprawl out on the sofa’s in the laundry room and read a book, while our smalls were being refreshed. Despite being the peak season, we always managed to get a hot tub to ourselves each time we visited the clubhouse. The BVC DVD collection was very extensive which we took full advantage of. (Our Après Ski evenings consisted of snuggling up on the sofa, watching movies and eating ice cream straight from the tub. We’ve have had a superb relationship with the owners since the very first contact regarding the apartment in Jul 15. (I’ve had less contact with close members of family over the last year.) Every query we had was answered promptly and the information provided was very reliable. I would return to this apartment in an instant. However I guess it’s going to take a while to save enough cash to cover the airfares, lift passes and ski hire again so it’ll be a while before we return. In the meantime I’m more than happy to recommend this apartment to others."

  • Peaceful retreat with the rushing Fraser River just a stones throw away.

"We enjoyed our stay at Sylvia's place in Winter Park. It was an easy walk to downtown from there. it was clean and well maintained. The new rec center and hot tubs were very welcoming. It was comfortable and quiet for most of the week. Young family started to arrive on the weekend. Please be aware that there is a mini fridge there and not a full size refrigerator. My only suggestion is that the bathroom light be rewired to take the fan off of the light as you don't always need to hear the fan when the light is on. It was very restful and a delightful place to be! I would love to return there."
