  • Had a Blast

"We had a great time, two families a total of 10 people. Kids all had a great time hiking up a small mountain close to the house. We also took the trail head several times and cooked out on the grill on the patio. We even got to watch some football thanks to having Dish Network already there. Kids loved collecting rocks while adults hung out on the deck and visited, and around the house. Kids also enjoyed the whirlpool bathtub upstairs. The house is also really close to the ski resort where you can in the "summer" enjoy the Alpine Slide and the village at Winter Park. We had a blast and definitely plan on returning sometime in the future."

  • Fast responses & perfect condo for our needs!

"My family of 4 rented this unit from Sharon, who couldn't have been more quick and professional with any of my questions. The unit is about 3 miles from Winter Park and conveniently located close to town for sport shops/restaurants (Hernandos Pizza!) and about a 5 min. easy drive to Safeway. We took the free shuttle to and from the lifts everyday, which is literally across the parking lot from our unit. There are specific times and different shuttles, which is clearly outlined in the condo. The condo itself is well laid out, roomy, has a spot for skis, hooks for ski clothes/gear. The kitchen is well stocked- we cooked all of our meals because we had the necessary pots, pans, and utensils to do so. The bathrooms were also well stocked... never ran out of essentials. The unit is on the first floor and we loved that we could park our car pretty much in front of the unit. It appeared that the building was about 50% full at the time of our stay- never felt noisy. My husband and kids made great use of the hot tub and pool, which was a short walk to the main building. I used the laundry, which was conveniently located in the same building as the pool. In addition, because my husband and I had a little bit of work to do, we needed wifi access, which was very reliable and available in this unit. We would definitely rent this unit from Sharon again!"

  • Great accommodations

"We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely condo in the heart of Winter Park during our 12 night stay over our Christmas vacation. It was within walking distance to town, Hideway park and the lift shuttle. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, loved the heated floors, washer/dryer and the comfy furniture. Plenty of hot water for showers for everyone after a day of skiing. It is more spacious than the pictures look. The hot tub and pool were just a few steps away and enjoyable after a long day at the slopes. This unit is on the 3rd floor which Is accessible by the stairway or an elevator. The unit is also very quiet. The owners were excellent to work with and responded to any questions we had immediately."

  • Great place to stay with kids

"We stayed here back in January of 2010 (VRBO won't let me go back that far with arrival dates, so the one listed is incorrect) with our two young children. My toddler slept in the bed while my under-two-year-old slept in the provided pack-n-play in the 2nd bathroom (to avoid them waking each other up). It was compact but such a nice short walk to ski or get rentals. My toddler loved the sled as well. We usually skied back to the condo for lunch and it was so handy to do that. We took the complex shuttle to the Safeway for groceries and that worked out wonderful as well. We also enjoyed getting discounted lift tickets through the owner. The heat decided to quit working (I wondered why it was cold), but the owner was prompt and had someone there later that day to fix it, so we were not without it for very long. The only flaw was (thanks to some fabulous fresh snow) the resort was grooming the mountain trails at 4:30 AM (I am a very light sleeper). I'm guessing that had we been anywhere else, we'd have heard a snow plow instead (things you forget when you live in Texas). My children are much older now but I still have this bookmarked if we can manage to get away again."
