  • Incredible Views!

"My husband and I chose Alpenglow Ranch based on the pictures showing the mountain views. We were stunned and amazed when we arrived-the setting and the views are even more beautiful than pictured. John met us and showed us around this beautiful home, explaining how things worked. He made us feel so welcomed! We stayed for five weeks and got to witness an incredible fall color display from the large, expansive living room windows. Every room in the house had wonderful views. The home is about 20-25 minutes from Telluride and is a lovely drive. John gave us good advice on enjoying the surrounding area attractions-we had a great time! If you love golfing, fly fishing, cultural entertainment, and beautiful scenery, this place is for you! The home was very comfortable and well built-no drafts (heated floors throughout). The galley kitchen is open to the living/dining area and has a complete stock of dishes, silverware, glasses and cookware. The three bedrooms had comfortable beds and great views. Both bathrooms have showers; the master also has an antique claw bathtub. The master bedroom and bath are at one end of the house; the other two bedrooms and bath are at the other. Very quiet except for hearing the coyotes and elk occasionally. Mule deer in the front or side yard, sometimes in the morning or sometimes in the late afternoon. If you enjoy living in an area with expansive views of Wilson Peak and the surrounding mountains, then this place is for you! Pam W."

  • Beautiful log home

"This is a beautiful home and it is quite secluded which gives it such a wonderful view. It is secluded, but drive down the hill, and there is a little shopping center only about four miles from there. It has a nice grocery store for supplies and a few other shops and I think gas also. Back to the home, it is amazing and large. Only 2 couples stayed and we had lots of privacy. My suggestion though would be to put a king size bed in downstairs bedroom and add a chest for storage. The upstairs master bedroom is awesome, but I do think making the downstairs bedroom more like a master suite would be very nice. There is a third bedroom also upstairs. It has three beds in it and suited for the kids. The living and kitchen area are totally amazing with views everywhere We saw dear outside everyday. And best of all, we got snow! We stayed in one day and just enjoyed the home and played in the snow. Everything went smooth as far as check in and Mr Kuhns was readily available when we had questions. I would definitely recommend this home to perspective renters and would stay here again if in this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

  • Amazing views! Beautiful home and property!

"We saw everything from sunsets, rainstorms, snow on the mountain tops, and deer passing by around 7 am every day! The home was warm and inviting. We felt so comfortable and everything we needed was at our fingertips. The location was convenient to the gondola, which allowed us to enjoy both Mountain Village and Telluride! Kim was quick to respond to any questions we had! What a great experience with many great memories!"
