  • Great Slopeside Condo - a bit far to be truly ski in/out

"This was our first trip to Copper Mountain - wow, what a phenomenal mountain. I definitely see why it's a locals favorite. We, a group of four adults, stayed here five nights in late February and the condo had plenty of space for all of us. Overall, the condo was very nice and comfortable, but not what I would call 'luxurious'. On the plus side: Ron was great to work with, he made the booking and check-in process extremely easy It was a very nice condo with decent amenities and the kitchen was well stocked Beds and sofas were comfortable, the condo was very clean Underground heated parking is great to have Hot tub and gym were nice The down side: The condo could use some additional furnishing in the master bedroom; no dresser and no hangers in the closet - frustrating to have to live out of a suitcase for 5 nights From the ski locker room, you will have to walk several hundred steps to get to either the American Flyer or American Eagle lifts. This was much further than we anticipated, but seemed about average for Copper's base area. The ski locker room also only had benches outside in the lobby area. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the view from the condo isn't great, just a roof and more condos Not of the 'downside' issues were deal breakers and overall I would recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again. On a side note, I would not recommend renting equipment from the ski shop on the first floor of Copper One Lodge. My wife and I have taken 1 to 2 ski trips every year for the past 18 years and have never paid as much as we did at this rental shop - almost $60 per day for demo skis (incl. tax and damage waiver). I could overlook the high price if the equipment and service was great, but even the demo skis were very beat up and many of the employees are borderline worthless."

  • Great location!

"We really enjoyed out stay in many ways. This is a large and super clean condo. It was better stocked with everything than any other condo we have rented. We liked it so much, we have already reserved it for part of next summer. The owners are wonderful to deal with."

  • Perfect Place for a Short or Extended Stay in Vail (Part 1)

"I stayed in this beautiful unit for almost three months, which allowed me to become very familiar with this condominium and the surrounding areas. I stayed as for long as I did because I have a complex orthopedic condition, and came to have surgery and do physical therapy at the Steadman Clinic, one of the top orthopedic institutions in the world. For the first two months after surgery, I had to spend hours a day with my leg elevated, and as a result, spent a great deal of time in the unit. For the last almost month, I was able to get out more and take advantage of some of the many of things to do and see in the area, and was better able to take advantage of the great location of this unit.   The unit itself is very comfortable. It has one bedroom, a bunk room, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a den. In the following paragraphs I will provide more details on each of these rooms, and share things I particularly liked.   The bedroom has a large, comfortable king bed. I spent many hours with my leg elevated in that bed, and appreciated not only the comfort of the bed, but also the TV in the bedroom. It is perfectly situated to be able to watch TV while in bed, and has many cable channels. The bedroom also has a large armoire that serves as a closet, a chest of drawers with three drawers, two alarm clocks, one on each side of the bed, a couple of luggage racks, and a power strip to accommodate one or two personal electronic devices.   I did not spend much time in the bunk room, except to exit to the pool. It has two beds, one on top of the other, as well as a TV that is attached to the lower bed. The beds would be perfect for two children, although they could probably accommodate mid-sized adult guests (5'10" or shorter). The bunk room can also be used for extra storage, if you do not need the beds.   The bathroom is a good size, and has a spacious walk-in shower with a seat, a sink, and toilet. Like the rest of the unit, it is recently remodeled, and is attractive. The sink has sufficient cabinet room to accommodate several people's toiletries. I brought extra items for my extended stay, and still had a lot of extra room. There is also a hair dryer, so you will not need to bring your own.   (Note: This review is being submitted in multiple parts due to this site's review character restrictions)."
