  • Great, quiet, convenient!

"Great little place to stay for our Labor Day weekend. Loved the peaceful setting, which backs directly to Gore Creek. We and our children (ages 7 & 11) played along the creek. Conveniently, everything was walking distance (Botanical Gardens, Village center, and Lionshead). This is a 1 bedroom unit which also has a sleeper sofa in the living room--so our kiddos shared the sleeper sofa (also noticed there were blow up mattresses in the closet in case we needed, but we did not use). It was clean and the building was quiet--I know others were there, but never heard them. Condo was well-stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils, dish soap/dishwasher detergent, recycling bin, towels, toiletries, blow dryers, broom, vac, games, books, etc. We did not use, but the washer/dryer is conveniently located across the hall. The living space is small with the sleeper sofa out, but still manageable for our family. Bathroom a bit dated, but was not an issue for us. Loved that there was a no smoking policy for the unit. :)"

  • Great views, affordable rates

"The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Views are out of a picture book. We spent a relaxing afternoon watching as a storm passed over the mountains and valleys. Sun, rain, and snow in one view! Saw many deer and a moose near the home. As others have said, it feels like you are very secluded, but several towns (including Winter Park's ski lodge) are just a few minutes away. A true escape from our hot southern Texas summer. Would definitely rebook."

  • Great spot to stay while enjoying magical Steamboat

"The property lived up to the description. It was at such an ideal location for us to walk to and from the gondola at the base (it was so close that we didn't take advantage of the shuttle ride). It allowed us to walk with our young children and ski with them and then as parents each enjoy time on the slopes without the downtime of getting to and from the lifts. It was great having some shops and restaurants in walking distance and downtown a short drive away. The ski locker and garage parking were a big help. And the condo was open and clean and updated and incredibly usable. There were tons of seating options, tvs for relaxing, fireplace for ambience, two nice bathrooms, and laundry. And during our 5 night stay, we took advantage of the pool and hot tub 10 times in addition to skiing 5 days in a row. When we had questions, Brad quickly answered them - before and during our visit. This would be our first choice for our next stay in Steamboat Springs."
