"My husband wanted a place in Colorado where we could get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and just relax for our 23rd anniversary and I have to say that this was the perfect place. It is only about 4 miles outside of town and the view is stunning. The cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable and the hot tub is a must! We spent a couple of days in town at Bronco Billy's casino chatting with Blake and Adriana, the bartenders and we visited several of the cute little shops in town. The rest of the time we spent at the cabin with a fire in the fireplace and having drinks on the balcony in the hot tub watching it snow. If you're looking for a lot of activity, such as skiing, snowmobiling, etc...........this is NOT the place for you, but if you just want to relax and enjoy the scenery.....IT'S PERFECT!! Thank you Jeff for being so friendly and open to questions. This was truly a very memorable trip and I have to say, for the first time on vacation, I did not want to go home!"

  • Beth Kunz is a gracious host, home is comfortable and in a great location, lots to do in the area

"Beth kept us informed and sent us great preparatory information prior to our arrival. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and cupboard full of thoughtful groceries and fresh brewed coffee! The home is pleasant with a great living space, albeit a small kitchen, and lots of options for sleeping. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all major attractions. It is within 2 blocks of Monument Park which is great for daily walks and exercise. The views are spectacular. You can step outside and see Pike's Peak. The area has a lot going for it, including an amazing array of microbrews, and great hiking. Ring around the Peak is an amazing and challenging trail. The highlight was the Garden of the Gods. Mueller National Park was terrific with great snowshoe trails and an amazing sledding hill. Colorado City was fun with great shops. Downtown Colorado Springs was nice, especially Bijou Street, with a cute public square with an ice skating rink. Several major Universities, including the Air Force Academy, provide welcome activities. The North Pole was cheesey but surprisingly enjoyable. The only drawback was The best skiing at Monarch was a hike at 2 1/2 hours. Overall, highly recommended."

  • Christmas Vacation

"We really enjoyed ourselves. The home was large enough and the snacks that were left made it feel more like home."

  • Beautiful and relaxing!

"This was such a wonderful place to stay! We needed to be close to Ft Carson and it was about a 10 minute drive. The property is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous gardens and the relaxing stream out front. I had my coffee there every morning. It is quiet and the beds are very comfy, making it the perfect place to relax. Many attractions are just a short distance away so the location can't be beat. We were a party of four adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. Liz is a gracious host and made our stay one we will always remember. We will definitely stay here again!"
