  • Great family summer stay!

"Great property for a summer vacation in the mountains! The condo was decorated perfectly for the mountain/cabin feel and was very comfortable for our family of four. Walk out patio was very enjoyable for a morning breath of crisp fresh air. The pool area at the condo building was the highlight of this booking. We all looked forward every day to returning to the condo just to swim and soak in the hot tubs. This condo gave us the peaceful location we were seeking to relax at this summer. It's location was ideal because we were a short drive to many destination spots we travelled to during the day. Owner was also very helpful with booking and replied quickly. Overall wonderful experience at this property!!"

  • Beautiful area, nice cabin

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Heeney cabin in early June. Four adults and two kids were very well accommodated, though please note that there is no longer a twin/trundle in the fourth bedroom. It has been replaced by twin bunk beds. This would have been a problem for us if the other 2 adults we had planned for would have been able to come on the trip, but since they had to cancel it all worked out well. The hike around Lower Cataract was spectacular, and took us about 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace. Driving into town was a bit further than expected (the dirt road part), but the rented minivan handled it just fine. We enjoyed watching the antics of the hummingbirds, listening to the coyote pack at night, and seeing deer every morning on the property. The campfire was fun, though the 5 gallon buckets of water were not at the site as stated in the paperwork. Also, bring your own marshmallow roasters! The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. As for the local area, the tour of historic buildings in Frisco was a fun way to spend a couple of hours, and the kids enjoyed the passports they got to stamp in every building. Bike rental in Frisco also worked out well, and the trail up to Copper Mountain is fantastic, though not for small kids or casual riders. Copper Mountain also has a deal in the summer months for $49 where you can ride the lift up and down the mountain as many times in a day as you like (we got to witness a wedding at the top), ride the zip line across the lake (kind of small, but fun), jump on the trampoline-with-bungees thing, and play miniature golf. You can also pay for each individually, but it's much better as a package deal. Fishing on Lower Cataract Lake only yielded 1 fish, but it was a beauty. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay."

  • Beautiful!!

"Had a family reunion at this beautiful mountain home!! Great layout with each room totally accommodating, with large closets and individual bathrooms/showers. There were HD TV's everywhere not only in all sitting rooms and bedrooms, but also each individual queen size bunk bed had their own television....16 in all and that doesn't include the awesome "theater room"!!. The view was fabulous and relaxing. Only minor inconvenience with shower in one bedroom not working which Tracy addressed quickly. The management responded to any question or concern promptly. This is an ideal retreat for gatherings any season of the year!"

  • Nice place

"Good location (near keystone shuttle outside of your door) and comfortable place. Hot tub was OK, but prefer it being outside. Otherwise, was great for a ski vacation."
