  • Wonderful Getaway

"This cabin was one of our favorites! It has every modern amenity, but still has the rustic charm that a mountain cabin should have. Cozy and quiet, it was just what our family needed to escape and unwind for a few days."

  • Too high for us flatlanders

"To high for comfort ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place but definitely off the beaten path. Beautiful home and great views, but be vary cautious if you are a flat lander. This cabin is at 10,665 ft. My wife may dog and myself all got altitude sickness. We were so bad that we left after 3 days and had to go down to Denver. I wish this was stated in the info. We go to this area about once or twice a year staying between 9,000 and 10,000. That extra 600 made a big difference. The other issue we had was with the management company. It was stated on the contract that " We are not responsible for issues with your vehicle or the snow but only for making sure the snowplower plows the driveway( this may not be immediate but he will come)" This did not happen. When we arrived there was 5-6 inches on the sloping drive with a large snowdrift in front of the only open garage space and covering the walkway to the front door. We called but no one came. What we found out was the contract ran out with the person doing the plowing and the management company did not want to deal with it."

  • 100%

"My husband and I could not have been more pleased with this cabin and surrounding acreage. You always keep your fingers crossed when booking something on-line, but have no fear when renting this beautiful home. Fly fishing in the creek/pond right below the cabin was unbelievable. Watching a bull moose saunter down the valley towards the cabin will forever be etched in our memories. The cow moose and her yearling bedding down no further than 50 yards from the cabin. The list could go on, and on, and .......... Kenosha Pass is a short drive north from the cabin and provided a spectacular hiking experience. Horseback riding at The Platte River Stables was another activity that proved itself beyond expectation. Breckenridge is a 30-40 minute drive away. The cabin itself is furnished with anything you might need, and the washer/dryer was a bonus when staying somewhere a full week. We (and our border collie) cannot say enough good things about this vacation rental!!! Shirley & Ron San Antonio, Tx"

  • Perfect Vacation! 3 Families with kids

"This lodge was absolutely great! It's a ways away from Fairplay, which was just what we wanted! It's only 10-15 minutes to get to Fairplay, and about 45 minutes to get to Breckenridge. The location was nice and quiet, and very beautiful! The views from the deck are wonderful. There is so much room in the lodge that you won't feel like you're crowded. The kitchen is stocked well, the fireplace was easy to work, and the hot tub was one of our favorites! Heather was extremely helpful and very accommodating for our stay. This really could not have been any better. Thank you very much for renting us your cabin, Heather!"
