  • " Little Cabin In The Woods"; Serene, Quiet, Secluded

"If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this IS the place. Imagine yourself driving up into the foothills on a dirt road, and then turning off onto a one lane road lined with Aspen trees. Suddenly, there before you....".the little cabin in the woods", nestled in a grove of yet more Aspen trees. As you enter the cabin you see a wall of of windows, you open the shades and there before you see a meadow surrounded by Aspens, and in the distance, mountains. If this sounds wonderful to you, this IS the place. This little cabin is more than wonderful than you can imagine. Well has just about any and everything you will need as far as staples, and it is very clean. We had a wonderful, restful time. You can hike, fish, visit and eat in Fairplay, go over the mountain to Breckenridge, or sit on the porch and take in the beauty of the area. Rick and Leroy were great! They will respond quickly and do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable! If you come, you won't want to leave!"

  • This Cabin was perfect!

"My wife and I wanted to get out of the Heat for the Christmas holiday and spent the week there after Christmas including New Year's. We were blessed to have snow on the 1st day of our trip! We rented a four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler empik a couple trips to Breckenridge for snowboarding and snowmobiling which was only about 40 minutes away. The cabin was exactly as described and felt like we were miles away from civilization! Although there were a lot of beautiful cabins that we passed on the way to this property, this was at the very end of of the road which gave my wife and I the seclusion we were looking for. The owners knew we were from Tampa and we're worried about us getting altitude sickness and we're willing to be flexible with our dates in case we didnt feel wellwhich was much appreciated. Fortunately, we didn't have any problems. We didn't want to leave and are really looking forward to going back during the summer!"

"We've NEVER enjoyed a property any more than this one. Diane had it all decorated for the holidays and the place was SPOTLESS when we arrived (and left).....!!!! We loved the location being close enough to town, yet in a gated community with very little traffic if any. It was so nice to cook a nice super and sit back and enjoy the views then retire to a comphy couch, warm fire and a movie. IF, we don't buy and or build in that community, we will be back.......!!!!!!! (I'm SO SORRYfor the santa Diane) K&E"
