  • Beautiful home!

"We stayed here for 2 nights in January to celebrate a late Christmas with our kids. It's a very nice home, and has been taken care of very well. They had everything we needed, comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. The hot tub is great - really big and comfortable - a great perk to have! They were wonderful to work with, and we would absolutely stay here again! Walmart was just 5 minutes up the road for anything we forgot, and the home is just a little off the main highway, making it super easy to get to, but it was so quiet in Green Mountain that you feel like you are miles and miles off the beaten path!"

  • Beth Kunz is a gracious host, home is comfortable and in a great location, lots to do in the area

"Beth kept us informed and sent us great preparatory information prior to our arrival. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and cupboard full of thoughtful groceries and fresh brewed coffee! The home is pleasant with a great living space, albeit a small kitchen, and lots of options for sleeping. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all major attractions. It is within 2 blocks of Monument Park which is great for daily walks and exercise. The views are spectacular. You can step outside and see Pike's Peak. The area has a lot going for it, including an amazing array of microbrews, and great hiking. Ring around the Peak is an amazing and challenging trail. The highlight was the Garden of the Gods. Mueller National Park was terrific with great snowshoe trails and an amazing sledding hill. Colorado City was fun with great shops. Downtown Colorado Springs was nice, especially Bijou Street, with a cute public square with an ice skating rink. Several major Universities, including the Air Force Academy, provide welcome activities. The North Pole was cheesey but surprisingly enjoyable. The only drawback was The best skiing at Monarch was a hike at 2 1/2 hours. Overall, highly recommended."

  • Unique and Charming

"Our first impression of "whoa" quickly changed to "wow" at just how unique this house was, and we departed after a planned short stay with a very sentimental impression of the home. Walking through the primary entrance felt a little odd at first in that the "built a long time ago" feel was omnipresent, but once we settled down we began to look at all the neat artifacts hanging on the walls and that's when the charm of such an old house really took shape. The beds and living space were plentiful and comfortable for 10 people, and so I would certainly recommend this location for a similar sized group. The home served us well as a temporary stop in our first time journey to and through Colorado, and I'm sure it'll serve someone else the same. I can't say enough about the cool things hanging on the walls. You'll have to see it to know what I'm talking about. :)"

  • Perfect Thanksgiving

"Mountain Symphony is a great house with a wonderful, warm feeling. Every detail has been attended to and the size was perfect for four adults and two children. The king beds were so comfortable with great linens. The fact that the kitchen is stocked with lots of basics and soap, laundry detergent and paper products is a wonderful bonus! This is a place you won't want to leave. The location to attractions and restaurants, etc is perfect. There is so much to do in this area. We fell in love with this area and this house and will be back again for sure. The Bantas were so accommodating and easy to deal with."
