  • FANTASTIC STAY!

"My husband and our three children stayed for two nights at Buffalo Sunrise Lodge. The house is spacious, well-kept and lovely; included two bedrooms, two full baths, washer and dryer and a kitchen with anything you may need. The deck on the front of the house was perfect any time of the day and overlooks the lake/gazebo in Green Mountain Falls. The town of Green Mountain Falls is a little village and is incredibly charming and friendly. We enjoyed eating at the Pantry (delicious breakfast!) and the Blue Moose for live music and dinner just a short walk down from the house. We also hiked from the house to two nearby waterfalls and the view from the top was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better family vacation, and we hope to come again to Buffalo Sunrise Lodge! Would recommend for families or a girls/guys trip to anyone. Nan was friendly and responsive - everything we needed was provided to us in the home. Thank you!"

  • Cozy cabin in beautiful, peaceful surroundings; perfect for a couple

"We spent ten days in this nice little cabin in Green Mountain Falls in October. It was our first vacation in Colorado and we loved everything about it! The cabin is very cozy and has everything you need for a pleasant vacation. We loved the deck (unfortunately, it faces to the north, so you don't get too much sunshine - which is nice in summer, but not in October! ;-) and the Hollywood swing. The cabin is nicely furnished (loved the leather recliner chair!!) and is perfect for a couple. Although it sleeps theoretically up to 6 people, we would not recommend it for more than 2 adults and 2 childs max. We could have used a little more dishes and glasses, but that is not a big deal. The mattress in the master bed room is super comfortable and so is the sofa in the living room. We especially liked the fact that the cabin was well equipped with things like toilet paper, hand soap, detergents and even spices, sugar, alu foil etc. It really helps if you do not have to buy all these things at the start of your vacation. - The surroundings of Borelli no. 2 are really nice. It is perfectly quiet and lets you wind down totally from stressful everyday life. Green Mountain Falls is a nice little town, and there is a lot to do and see in the area. We went up to Pikes Peak, visited the Garden of the Gods, Mueller State Park, Florissant Fossil Beds, and also took a trip to the Royal Gorge bridge, all of which is relatively close to GMF. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and would also consider coming back for another great Colorado vacation! After we left, our deposit was refunded promptly within 10 days, so there is really nothing to complain about!"

  • Charming Cabin in A Beautiful Setting

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very charming and was quite comfortable for our family of four. It is in a central location that makes for an easy walk to the pond and The Pantry. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. 😊 If you are looking for comfortable accommodations in a great location in a beautiful setting, this is your place. We hope to visit again in the future."

  • Great house for our family of 6!

"The Mountain Hacienda was a perfect spot to wrap up our Colorado vacation. It was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We visited Garden of the Gods on our way up, then drove to Noah's Ark Whitewater Rafting near Buena Vista the next day (highly recommend if rafting - 1.5 hour scenic drive away). Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer to explore around Green Mountain Falls area, but it will be at the top of our list the next time we come."
