  • Cute, quiet and convenient

"We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods rather than a cabin one block from town. We enjoyed our stay and loved the accommodations. It did take my 6'1" husband a little time to remember to duck his head when entering the bedroom. LOL. Thanks for everything Chris!"

  • Awesome Five Day Family Vacation/Celebration

"Our family of eight adults spent five days at this wonderful old Victorian house. We were getting together to celebrate the end of our oldest son's year long stay in the Colorado Springs area. The house was exactly as it was advertised on the VRBO website. The owners were great to work with in preparing for our arrival. The home was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a great place to gather for a family cookout. It was so convenient for day trips to Canon City and Cripple Creek, and just a short walk to everything in Manitou Springs. This was the first trip for many of our family members to Colorado and we hope it won't be our last. Thanks for a memorable stay!"

  • Great Trip for the Whole Family

"This house and its little cabins are AWESOME!! i NEVER thought I would be able to plan for something that my inlaws, my aunt and uncle and my family would all love but I did and this was it! Everyone was able to hang out and have a great time together but also be within walking distance to town so it was easy to take the kids to the Penny Arcade or do the Incline. I could not have gotten a better place and......... everything had been recently updated! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! I just cant imagine how gorgeous this must be in the spring and summer hanging out by the river in back!!"

  • 3rd Visit

"Manitou is a festive place with great trails and this house is in a fantastic location. Just past the Cog Railway, it is very private on a dead-end street across from Ruxton Creek with parking for 3 vehicles. Will be back again in 2017 to do the Manitou Incline, which is a short walk from the house"
