  • Fun get a way with friends!

"We are all retired ladies and absolutely enjoyed our time here! The home is lovely, in a beautiful location and we loved being able to hear the stream at night. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor Hotel, Historic Colorado City, Manitou Springs and of course shopping in Colorado Springs, were on our list, plus just relaxation. One highlight was the historic Cliff House Hotel and Restaurant where we had one of the best meals we have ever had plus the beautiful surroundings and treatment at the restaurant. These retired friends are planning on returning next year to have our 2nd annual get a way! Thank you for this wonderful experience."

  • Great venue for our Family Reunion

"Our family just finished our 6 days - 5 nights at the Walton Mountain Lodge; we had the lodge and the cottage to accommodate 26 of us! It was perfect and the Walton's were great and gracious hosts - they left us alone and we only saw them when we had questions. The lodge kitchen was well supplied and had everything we needed including large cookware and plenty of dishes to handle our large group. We were very happy with the situation; all our needs were met. We gathered and BBQed on the deck, WIFI was sufficient for work-at-home folks, everything was clean, enough beds for everyone, and we never ran out of hot water for showers!! 'Not sure about the large TV - we never turned it on! The Manitou Springs area offers so many opportunities; our group did horseback riding and archery, an ATV trip at Lone Duck Campground; The Incline, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Cave Dwellings, Zip Lining, golfing, hiking, fishing at Spinney Reservoir, antiquing and more. It was perfect for us!"

  • Convenient location to attractions!

"Reminded us of grandma's house. Small but comfortable. Owners are very nice and will stay again. Only thing we didn't care for was the road noise, due to the very busy hwy being so close. Pike's peak hill climb was going on and there was a traffic jam from 2:30 am till 9pm Sunday. I, however, rented for easy access to hwy and not to be secluded in privacy. Had a great stay. Thank you"

  • USAFA Graduation 2016

"This property fit our needs perfectly! Enough room for everyone...16 on a few evenings. The dining table was great, as we cooked & ate dinner at the house (huge budget saver!) The views are breath-taking & the wildlife is abundant. It is very convenient for all the USAFA graduation events. The owners are very attentive to the needs of the guests. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our family time."
