  • Great place to stay, we LOVED it!

"My family and I recently decided to skip town and head to CO for a few days. It was just awesome. We loved Manitou Springs and the whole area. We only had a few days to get away but found something each of us enjoyed; talk about a lot to do~ just the view was amazing! We stayed at this great townhome and it was just perfect. Not fancy but exactly as it is described--very welcoming and clean. It was just me, my husband and our two kids and we had more than enough room. The beds were really comfortable with lots of extra pillows! I read one review where someone complained about this home but trust me, there is nothing to complain about! Karen went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed in advance. And it was really nice to be able to get settled on our first night without running to the grocery store; she left us a spaghetti dinner along with coffee and donuts for the next morning! I would highly recommend this townhome; we loved it and will definitely be back!"

  • Awesome Five Day Family Vacation/Celebration

"Our family of eight adults spent five days at this wonderful old Victorian house. We were getting together to celebrate the end of our oldest son's year long stay in the Colorado Springs area. The house was exactly as it was advertised on the VRBO website. The owners were great to work with in preparing for our arrival. The home was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a great place to gather for a family cookout. It was so convenient for day trips to Canon City and Cripple Creek, and just a short walk to everything in Manitou Springs. This was the first trip for many of our family members to Colorado and we hope it won't be our last. Thanks for a memorable stay!"

  • SO welcoming and comfy!

"Three of us stayed for 4 nights in October and it was perfect. One of the reasons I selected the property is because it is SO close to all the must-do things in Colorado Springs. (Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods, etc.) We are talking MINUTES! Then the second reason I picked it was the excellent nightly rate. I was going to be willing to put up with lesser accommodations in order to get the price and convenience. Well, the best part is, the quality of this property is excellent, so you can truly "have your cake and eat it too" with this bungalow! Everything is as shown in the pics, so it is obviously not the newest and most current decor, but those places can seem cold and sterile anyway. This feels like sleeping over at your aunt's house, complete with the use of all her wonderful amenities - from aluminum foil and spices to garbage can liners and laundry detergent. You don't need to worry about bringing (or buying) all those extras, which is so nice. It is also very clean, feels super private, and Karyl is quite responsive, friendly and helpful. The only thing I will mention is that there are several stairs from the driveway up to the door, so any folks that might have trouble with that should be aware. We 'd go back in a heartbeat!"
