  • Loved this cozy bungalow, close to everything!

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights only, but would have been very comfortable here for much longer. Everything was just as shown in the photos, very charming, cozy and private. We immediately felt at home! The kitchen was well fitted with coffee maker (and filters!), plates, glasses, utensils, toaster, microwave - everything you could possibly need to stay for a long time (minus food of course). There were plenty of colorful towels in the clean bathroom as well as space to put our travel kits and hang robes. I also appreciated the hand lotion as I'm not used to such a dry environment and had not brought enough along. The futon in the living room provided a comfortable seat for watching TV or reading. The bedroom is large with another TV and the bed and bedding very comfortable. Very quiet surrounding led to great nights of sleep. The Garden of the Gods trading post is just a few blocks up the road and we walked there, then the entire distance of the park and back to the bungalow. About 10 miles all together. To be honest, we would recommend driving to the Visitor's Center, where they have a MUCH better free map and a parking lot very close to the major formations in the park. Then you can always walk more of the numerous trails if you like. We enjoyed the COG railway to Pikes Peak. If you go, ask to be seated on the "three seat side" of the train as the views are better from that side. We also enjoyed shopping and eating in the downtown area which was a half hour walk (on a bike path) or 5 minute drive away. We had delicious nachos and microbrews at Manitou Brewing and my husband loved the Osso Buco at Creekside Cuisine where they also serve Colorado microbrews. We hope to return to Manitou Springs and when we do, we will check availability at this cozy bungalow first. Thank you Karyl and family for sharing Gloria's home with us!"

  • Perfect home!

"We recently stayed in Manitou Springs at this great townhome and had a wonderful time. As I went to post this I saw another review that someone just posted and I have to say that person must have been having a really bad day as this is a great place to stay! The home is super comfortable, the beds are very cozy and the owner adds a bunch of special touches including a quick and easy dinner on the night we arrived and coffee (thank you!) and danish for the next morning. I almost booked another townhome in the same area for a few bucks less and I am so glad we decided on this unit instead. It has everything you need and more to have a great time!"

  • Fantastic property with great management

"I did a last minute booking of this property and the owner/manager was fantastic to work with. She communicated with me via phone, text, and email... Before and during my stay. The property is beautiful and just as described in the description. The beds and linen are all comfortable. The property is clean and well maintained. Access to Manitou Ave is a short walk away, though, the walk back from Maniou may prove challenging for those unable to walk steep hills."
