  • A Perfect Getaway

"Our stay at Sleepy Hollow Cabin was everything we thought it would and then some! Highly recommend - a perfect getaway destination. Loved the sound of the water, the bridge, picturesque setting and the accommodations/layout/amenities were just perfect for our large family gathering! Thank you!! We also were just a few minutes drive from Poncha Springs where we did a 1/2 day rental of ATVs and it was an absolute blast! A perfect family getaway!"

  • Beautiful property and spacious home

"This is an ideal place for a group of people that want a few common areas as well as beds for everyone. It's unpretentious and comfortable and we all felt immediately at home. The grounds had so much to offer (we played capture the flag, night sardines, volleyball and croquet golf.) it was perfect!"

  • Big House close to downtown

"This is our second stay here. It's great to be able to walk downtown to shops and the river. The house has plenty of parking and space in the back fenced in area for bikes. We had the whole family sitting out on the deck. There is also a huge table in the kitchen that seats 10 and extra chairs for more. Outdoor seating is lacking but we didn't miss it that much. There are only two bathrooms for the whole house but it's historic and the bathroom s are updated nicely. The kitchen works well and the BBQ outside. Bedrooms are adequate and there are fans for the heat. We may be back again!"

  • We would happily do it all again!

"I chose this place so we would be close to the ski area and not have to worry about significant driving should it snow. Well I chose wisely b/c it did snow...a lot. So our ten minute drive to the ski area was 18 minutes instead! We were a group of 8 friends on a ski weekend from Denver. This cabin fit us perfectly and everyone loved it. The cabin is well appointed and modern; plenty of room for all of us to move around, store our things, cook together and simply hang out. Both showers can be going at the same time...plenty of hot water and pressure. The hot tub was awesome after a fun day playing on the slopes. The beds are comfortable and the linens soft and of good quality. I have 3 suggestions: - a few more extra blankets in the cabin as there was only 1 and we could have used more (good thing 2 of my guests brought bedding just in case); - another frying pan for the kitchen...we needed it; - specific directions to the cabin on the website...if they are there, none of us were able to locate them....left at MM 177 and you're there! Everyone agreed that the cabin was a gem and a great idea rather then staying at a hotel. Thank you!"
