  • OUTSTANDING

"Best Family vacation we ever had whether its the South Fork, the hospitality of Goat and his wife, the cleanliness of the houses(if that's a cabin I'd love to see the houses). Everything was perfect. My kids were able to walk 10 steps and fish the S. Fork of the Rio, and me as well or I could drive 20 minutes and the fish the Big Daddy Rio. We were only 30 mins from Creed which my mother in law and wife loved the shopping in Creed. All the people in South Fork were helpful. Just a great place and God out did himself in Colorado and especially this area. We miss Peanut and Butter the property managers dogs who would check on you from time to time as well as the squirrels/chipmunks , Alvin, Simon and Theodore, A++"

  • Great and welcoming place

"This was a really nice place to stay. It was cute and quaint. We had everything we needed and we were plenty despite the snow storm that had blasted Colorado the previous day. We could get to everything easily within driving distance. The only thing is I would remind anyone coming here in the winter months is that this is Colorado and snow storms do happen so you need to be cognizant of that and plan accordingly with your vehicle. We have a small car and did not think to get chains or cables for it. Needless to say we could not make it up to the top of the street where the house is located because we would slide down every time. Luckily we were able to park at the end of the cul de sac and lug our luggage and ice chests up the street (which is about a football field in length). But if you are prepared that should not be a problem. This place was very comfortable and we would certainly come back, although better prepared."

  • Just as pictured

"5 rugby mates from Houston stayed in this house for our annual ski/snowboard adventure. The home is just as pictured on the web site. Views are great. Easy access to Wolf Creek ski and Pagosa Springs. The house is comfortable and had all we needed for a pleasant stay. The big flat screen TV was a bonus. Loved the gas fireplace. 5 guys from BARC"

  • We would happily do it all again!

"I chose this place so we would be close to the ski area and not have to worry about significant driving should it snow. Well I chose wisely b/c it did snow...a lot. So our ten minute drive to the ski area was 18 minutes instead! We were a group of 8 friends on a ski weekend from Denver. This cabin fit us perfectly and everyone loved it. The cabin is well appointed and modern; plenty of room for all of us to move around, store our things, cook together and simply hang out. Both showers can be going at the same time...plenty of hot water and pressure. The hot tub was awesome after a fun day playing on the slopes. The beds are comfortable and the linens soft and of good quality. I have 3 suggestions: - a few more extra blankets in the cabin as there was only 1 and we could have used more (good thing 2 of my guests brought bedding just in case); - another frying pan for the kitchen...we needed it; - specific directions to the cabin on the website...if they are there, none of us were able to locate them....left at MM 177 and you're there! Everyone agreed that the cabin was a gem and a great idea rather then staying at a hotel. Thank you!"
