  • Highly recommend!

"We stayed 4 nights in June, as we were in the area for a family wedding. We were impressed with the extra condiments and spices, plenty of towels/washcloths, even toiletries! The unexpected extras were a plus! This home was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. Unfortunately, the blinds in the two story living were left open (with the good intentions of greeting us with a beautiful view upon arrival) but the unexpected warm temperatures outside heated up the inside. With no A/C, we were unable to cool the house down until well into the night. The managers have since acknowledged that they will keep that in mind in the future so it doesn't happen to future guests in the warm months. I was encouraged by the managers' concern for addressing anything that could further improve their rentals. I would definitely rent this home again as well as work with these managers again. Oh, and we really enjoyed being so close to some hiking trails! The trail head was maybe a block from our driveway!"

  • Gorgeous views

"We stayed in the Angler cabin. The views are amazing! The cabin is beautiful & has everything that you would need for the stay, except for food & beverages! If you are looking for a place to stay away from the craziness of being around town or in a hotel, or a place to just go & relax, this is the place to go!"

  • Great adventure for kids and dogs

"We had two families there; 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 7 - 15), plus 3 dogs (2 stayed in the garage/stable). The best feature for us was the large acreage, with interesting terrain (trees, hills & valleys), a creek with beaver pond, various trails, and the stone fort. The kids made up an imaginative game involving pirates and gold mines, and had a great time! The adults enjoyed the scenery (first-rate), the picnic tables, grilling, horseshoes, and the tired kids. Very relaxing and a lot of fun. The cabin is well furnished and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and available, though we didn't need anything. We recommend it highly, especially for people with kids who want some outdoor adventure without roughing it!"

  • Wonderful vacation rental

"I only have positive things to say about this beautiful cabin- it was clean, spacious, and had amazing views of Pikes Peak from the deck. Our group of 6 was very comfortable staying here. The views and location give it a feeling of a remote hideaway, but a quick 10 minute drive into Woodland Park provides access to groceries, restaurants, and anything else you might need on your trip. Highlights that I recommend in the area include drinking a few brews at Bierworks and having the pancakes at Hungry Bear - both are located nearby in Woodland Park."
