  • Cozy Get Away

"We had an amazing stay at the Ski Town Condos. The condo fit 3 adults and 2 kids just perfectly, and we had enough room for more. The place was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We took advantage of the great kitchen space for making meals and having things on hand. This was a great drive to Monarch Ski area. You can't stay any closer than this it seems. It made it very convenient to get there for our ski day. We loved getting in the hot tub and relaxing on a day after the slopes. It was easy to get to Salida for dinner and to Mount Princeton for the Hot Springs. This was such a great location. We will most definitely be back when we go to Monarch again. This place was perfect. Gigi was amazing. She was friendly, kind and helpful."

  • Crestone Sanctuary - off Baca Grande

"Great property, quiet area and nicely maintained. What fantastics views to do some Night Skywatching and also to see some rainstorms roll over the mountains behind us. Nice proximity to Sangre de Cristo hiking trails and the national dunes parks. would do it all over again. Kathy and Kress Rossmann"

  • Great first trip to Breckenridge.

"We enjoyed our stay in Breckenridge. The town is really neat and has a lot to explore. The house was plenty big for our family of 4. We didn't even use the top floor at all. The house was clean and well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. We loved that the TVs were Netflix ready for watching our favorite shows after returning for the night. Tim was very easy to work with and was pretty quick to respond to any questions. Our only disappointment with the property was the sledding hill. When I booked the property I thought the hill would be right there in the yard. It is actually on the other side of a fence that you'd have to climb over in order to get to it. This may not have been a problem at a different time, but when we were there the snow was at least a couple feet deep. We couldn't figure out how to get through 100 yards of 2+ feet of snow with our 2 small children in order to climb over the fence and get to the hill to sled. We tried and the snow was just so powdery that with every step we were at least knee deep in snow. Having easy access to the hill so close to the house was one of the big reasons we chose this house over others in the area. So it was a bit of a let down. We ended up just using the provided sleds at the local sledding hill at Carter Park one morning. We also had to leave a day earlier than planned due to a major winter storm rolling in. We didn't want to become stranded in undrivable conditions (60 mph winds and 24 inches of snow). So we opted to leave a day early to beat the storm. We were not offered a refund for the last night but instead an extra night on a future trip. While I understand that the owner can't control the weather, the refund for the night we ended up not using would have really been excellent customer service that would have made up for the disappointment in not getting to use the hill and having to cut our trip short. I didn't expect him to refund me since bad weather cancellations are nonrefundable with most vacation rental policies, but I was still hoping he would. Offering the extra night on a future trip was nice but more than likely we will not get to take advantage of it. We choose different places each year for vacation and probably will not return to this specific area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house for large families or for multiple families. For small families like ours, it's probably more than what you need."
