  • Terrific Location and Great Property

"My wife and I spent five days here at the end of July. The house is wonderfully equipped, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The location is outstanding -- we parked our car for the duration of our stay and walked to "town" for most of our needs in one direction and in the other direction, hiked and mountain-biked until the sun went down. This was an outstanding place to vacation and we'll do it again."

  • Outstanding in every way!

"We rented this fabulous home for my daughter's graduation from the US Air Force Academy. It made our week in the area simply amazing. The kitchen and great room area were what sold me when I first looked at the photos, but in person, it was even better. A perfect place to be with family and friends. It's clean, comfy, homey, well-equipped, quietly luxurious, great views from nearly every window, quiet, safe, close to everything, and in a gorgeous neighborhood to walk or jog. But best of all? Wonderful and responsive owners. You can not do better than rent this home."

  • Wonderful retreat

"Thank you for a warm and welcoming stay in Nathrop! Your home is well-appointed and in a lovely area. The view is amazing, even with all the rain we had over the weekend. Although a bit off the beaten path, it is still very close to BV's shops and sights as well as close to the Colorado Trail, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and the actual Mt. Princeton 14er hike."

  • Deja Vu in the Colorado Rockies

"My husband and I hiked Pikes Peak to the summit on the Barr trail in 1994. We wanted to visit the area again and chose The Old North Cottage for our visit. The house was immaculate and even better than described for the 2 of us and our Mini Aussie pups. The fenced in back yard with a gazebo was great for the dogs and drinking wine in the evening. You can actually walk to the nearest grocery store! We ascended Pikes Peak again, but this time via The Cog Railroad. Loved this place and would certainly return for our next Colorado Springs visit."
