  • Awesome condo

"This condo was awesome! Updated and decorated so nicely. Warm and inviting. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beautiful view of ski mountain. Owners were so easy to work with and very accomodating. Nice to have the bus stop right outside the condo, but short walk to ski base. We stored our skis where we rented and walked. Would highly recommend this condo and we will return!"

  • Purgatory Condo--Lovely View & Nicely Updated Kitchen Cabinets & Fireplace Surround; roomy, clean

"We stayed in this 2 BDR Angelhaus condo at Purgatory during the Christmas Holidays 2015 and found it convenient for our family of four for staying on the mountain and skiing. The owners have put in new cabinets in the well-stocked kitchen and remodeled the fireplace surround including a flat-screen TV. The baseboard heat and the fireplace kept us nicely warm & cozy. The condo is a “shoes off” home (leave shoes by the front door) so the carpet was nice and clean. There are sliding glass doors to the patio with a lovely view out over the surrounding snowy mountains. The kitchen is well-stocked and we were able to cook all our meals in the condo. There are plenty of pots, pans, plates and baking dishes, and even a crockpot. During our stay, many spices, condiments, and assorted tea bags were already stocked in the cabinets. The management company also supplied us with a little basket of healthy snacks/candy as a treat. The living area has a comfortable sofa with reclining seats and another chair for comfortable seating for four and a kitchen table with seating for six. For a mountain condo the bedrooms were good sized and both had their own private baths attached. The bedroom furnishings and the bathroom fixtures appear to be original from when this condo was built in the 80s so they are older but function. Overall, the condo met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. A few updates to the kitchen and baths would make it better. The dishwasher did not do a good job. They must have really hard water in the area. The plates had a white residue that felt like a powder-coating on them and the glasses were cloudy. Hand washing the dishes, adding vinegar to the water, helped. Also, we were asked to not use the garbage disposal because of the old plumbing. The bathroom fixtures also showed signs of minerals in the water and the master tub, while showering, drained poorly. The condo offers internet access but the connection location (on the kitchen counter) was inconvenient. In addition, you should be prepared for the poor cell coverage (AT&T) at Purgatory. We could rarely make a call or send a text and there is no landline phone in this condo. The location of this condo was convenient, only a short walk to the nearest lift. There is parking right out front for condo guests. This top-floor condo was very quiet even during the busy Christmas season."

  • Fabulous condo in an AMAZING location!!!

"We stayed here for spring break with 2 kids! This condo was PERFECT!!! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. This condo is a TRUE ski in and ski out. We could have skied right into the family room (we didn't, but could have!) The location made this spring break a true vacation. We went to the hot tub every day, we had a fire every night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and we were close enough to go out! The property managers, Paige and David, were so helpful and available. We definitely hope to stay again!"

  • Better than the photos

"The photos do not adequately capture the unbelievable views from this house and the pristine nature of the inside. When I was researching crested Butte, I could not decide whether to stay in town or on the mountain… This house is right in between and allows you to access both quite easily . It is very close to the recreational path that goes between the two and my teenagers and I walked the path often both ways. The owner is very attentive and responsive. There are lots of guidebooks inside with things to do, hikes to take, and places to fish . We were there over July 4 and the view of the fireworks from the yard of the could not be beat. There is a nice back room which served as a second living room allowing the teenagers to spread out a bit. Great place. Great views. Clean. Kind owner."
