  • Truly Peaceful & Serene Cozy Cabin

"My husband & I SO enjoyed our week long stay in this cozy, home like cabin. The wooded surroundings made for an idyllic stay in the mountains of Colorado. The fall colors were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Made for perfect pictures. We were able to explore the Black Canyon of Gunnison, The Arches Nat'l Park in Utah (although be it a VERY LONG DAY!), a hike to & from Evergreen Lake several times, Pine Creek Trail, and rediscovering Ridgeway & Ouray as well. With shopping in between too! It all made for a wonderful vacation away from the city and the heat of Texas. We look forward to returning again & again! And being that its pet friendly is a huge factor for us as well. Thank you for the wonderful welcome & hospitality!"

  • Amazing view and room for everyone!

"The house is a little hard to find but, with Jennifer's help, we made it and couldn't be more pleased! There's a ton of room for everyone to gather by also have their own space if needed. I loved that there was an extra fridge for big items. The views off the balcony were amazing. It's great to start the day off by looking out and enjoying coffee. It was also great to sit out there at night to watch the stars, chat or just enjoy the quiet peaceful area. The kitchen had everything we needed. It's great to be able to make breakfast and lunches for such a big crowd and not have to eat out; which would've been the case if we had a hotel. We did go out for dinner at The Camp Robber off 550 and Ogden. It was close and they have amazing food!!"

  • Stay on a Real Colorado Ranch

"We booked this ranch bunkhouse for a week in early October. Gary and Laurianne were very gracious hosts and provided us with local information on photographing fall color and wonderful San Juan Mountain scenery. The bunkhouse is comfortable and has AC for hot days, baseboard heat and a fireplace. There is also an outdoor fire pit. This is located on a large working ranch with expansive views in all directions. It's dark at night! Gravel road access and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Drawbacks? If you like to stay in touch with "the folks back home" you may have to do what we did; take a morning trip to the Coffee Trader in Montrose (12miles) where WIFI is available. AT&T cell service is very poor if any. There is no WIFI available. We had to bring cash for the rent due to all payments are made directly. The bed is upstairs in a sleeping loft and the stairs are very steep with very shallow treads. I slept downstairs... I didn't want to chance a fall on the way down (being a big guy with size 14 shoes) the stairs were not an option. Would I stay again? You bet... It's rustic and comfortable. They offer horseback rides and just being in the ranch atmosphere felt like the real Colorado I wanted to see!"
