  • Perfect location!

"We stayed in this condo for the week after Christmas. Three families with kids ranging from 3 to 23. House was perfect and extremely clean. We could not have asked for anything more. Convenient to the slopes so skiing was great. The selling point for us was the 3 King beds, worked out perfect for our group!"

  • The house was simply beautiful!

"Pattie's "Stone House" was absolutely wonderful. While our arrival time kept changing due to vehicle issues, Pattie kept assuring me it was no problem and met us within minutes of our arrival. 6 of us stayed very comfortably. The home was warm and inviting. The only thing we could have asked for was...more time to stay! We would definitely recommend the Stone House to anyone looking to stay in Ouray! Thanks again Pattie for all your hospitality! The Hansons"

  • Magical!

"Oh my! The pictures are spot on; however, they do not truly express the magical feel when you walk in the door! It's perfect, in all ways. George and Devon have done an amazing job building, furnishing, and filling the area with nature's best of flowers and trees. The large trees shade the yurt from the sun; however, for your comfort, the AC does cool the place down in the hottest part of the day. But, why stay inside when you can sit in the shade on the deck, listen to the river as it flows along, watch the butterflies as they stop at the beautiful flowers, or perhaps see deer at the river's edge. You are secluded from the road in your own private oasis where you can totally relax and clear your mind. Plenty to see and do in the area; the Black Canyon of the Gunnison is only a short drive away. So many orchards to satisfy your desire for fresh picked fruit; at this time, it's cherry season and they are awesome. Great places to eat in Paonia; if you like Italian, we highly recommend The Flying Fork. I highly recommend this, and my husband and I will definitely go back and spend more time at this magical yurt. Thank you so much, George and Devon, for sharing this magical place with everyone!"

  • The Grand Reopening!

"Our family rented the newly remodeled Hunt Home for the Crested Butte Bike Week Festival. The home is truly impressive. The Hunts and the contractor have done a superior job of remodeling while honoring the Victorian feel of the home. The kitchen is large, bright, and extremely functional for a big group. (Two dishwashers and two sinks--woohoo!) The bedrooms are large with comfy beds. The rear of the home has a grill and plenty of parking space. The front porch is fabulous for people watching and social gatherings; the location is perfect. We were so happy with the Hunt Home that we booked it again!"
