  • Never wanted to leave!

"Such a beautiful place to spend our vacation! The stars at night were amazing. We loved waking up to the cool mornings and the sound of the horses in the pasture. The fire pit each night was great for s'mores. We spent lots of time on the porch swing enjoying the mountains, looking for wildlife. When you are out on the porch you can always hear the stream that runs through the property. It is so relaxing. The drive into Crested Butte is convenient. But we still felt like we were out in the woods. The kitchen is well equipped, making it a joy to cook for my family each morning with the cool air coming through the windows. The bedrooms are large and comfy, the living and dining areas are roomy as well. I wish we had stayed longer. If we had it to do over again, I would have done less away from the cabin and stayed right there and relaxed more...Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. We loved it."

  • Best Family Vacation Home

"Our family ski trip was at Mt Crested Butte and the magnificent home that we rented could not have been any better. Our two daughters, their spouses and children had plenty of their own space down stairs. We (the grand parents) loved our master suite on the main floor and privacy we had. Better still was the main living area with the wide open floor plan with the beautiful windows with full view of the mountains. The fireplace was over the top. Therevwas not one thing we would have changed about our stay. Thanks so much for everything."

  • Comfortable Spot in Town

"We're a couple who stayed for the last week of March 2016. This is a nice property, and we'd be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Crested Butte. The property is a townhome in a house that has been divided into two units, located in the northeast part of town on Gothic Ave between 7th & 8th St. There is off-street parking in front of the property. The location means you can walk or cycle to anywhere in town, if you're so inclined, as the locals do. The front door opens to an entryway/mud room shared between the two units. When you enter your unit, on the ground floor are two equal-sized double bedrooms, a washer/dryer and a full bath. Upstairs on the second floor are the kitchen and living areas, along with another full bathroom. There is also a third floor loft bedroom, with yet another bathroom. The property faces north out on to Gothic Ave. An outdoor deck accessible from the upstairs living area features a gas barbecue grill and a great view of Mt. CB. We found everything in the property to be clean and in good condition. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The living area is comfortable. Internet connectivity is good; we brought a Roku player which worked well. Showers had plenty of hot water. The owner provided prompt and friendly replies to any questions we had. A critique would be that that some parts of the property are well-equipped to the point of being cluttered, such as the kitchen cabinets (with cooking equipment) and the bedroom closets (with towels). But this is minor."

  • Ideal location in town, quiet, rustic

"This rustic cabin is a block and a half from restaurants and shops in town - an ideal location! Communication was straight forward with no hassles. The bedroom on the main floor is small but fine and the bed was very comfortable - at night the neighborhood was silent. The loft upstairs is accessed by climbing a ladder. Fine if you don't plan on getting up in the middle of the night. We didn't use the loft. The cottage is a very rustic style as shown in the photos - slippers are recommended by the owners for walking around on the wood floors. The washer and dryer was just what we needed (soap included) and the kitchen provided everything required. We used the fireplace which was easy to operate. The TV was fairly small and had a strange set of channels, no ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, but plenty of other channels. The place was a little dark even with the skylight. It was clean on the inside, but needed a sweep and clean up on the outside porch area. We didn't sit outside either at the front or in the backyard that is shared with other places (no fence). Overall we enjoyed our stay, slept well, and the location was really ideal."
