  • Comfortable Spot in Town

"We're a couple who stayed for the last week of March 2016. This is a nice property, and we'd be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Crested Butte. The property is a townhome in a house that has been divided into two units, located in the northeast part of town on Gothic Ave between 7th & 8th St. There is off-street parking in front of the property. The location means you can walk or cycle to anywhere in town, if you're so inclined, as the locals do. The front door opens to an entryway/mud room shared between the two units. When you enter your unit, on the ground floor are two equal-sized double bedrooms, a washer/dryer and a full bath. Upstairs on the second floor are the kitchen and living areas, along with another full bathroom. There is also a third floor loft bedroom, with yet another bathroom. The property faces north out on to Gothic Ave. An outdoor deck accessible from the upstairs living area features a gas barbecue grill and a great view of Mt. CB. We found everything in the property to be clean and in good condition. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The living area is comfortable. Internet connectivity is good; we brought a Roku player which worked well. Showers had plenty of hot water. The owner provided prompt and friendly replies to any questions we had. A critique would be that that some parts of the property are well-equipped to the point of being cluttered, such as the kitchen cabinets (with cooking equipment) and the bedroom closets (with towels). But this is minor."

  • Cozy.....comfy.....and charming!

"This cabin in Crested Butte was EVERYTHING we had imagined and more! The listing description was absolutely accurate. We loved our time in this cozy spot just a few blocks from great restaurants and shops. Not only that, but we could walk out the door and hike for miles! There were three of us adults.....our daughter loved her loft bedroom and we all loved the fact that the kitchen and living area were one charming area! The wide plank floors were timeless! The owners were so helpful! The cabin was immaculate upon arriving! WE WILL BE BACK! It is a gem surrounded by such gorgeous mountains!"

  • Better than the photos

"The photos do not adequately capture the unbelievable views from this house and the pristine nature of the inside. When I was researching crested Butte, I could not decide whether to stay in town or on the mountain… This house is right in between and allows you to access both quite easily . It is very close to the recreational path that goes between the two and my teenagers and I walked the path often both ways. The owner is very attentive and responsive. There are lots of guidebooks inside with things to do, hikes to take, and places to fish . We were there over July 4 and the view of the fireworks from the yard of the could not be beat. There is a nice back room which served as a second living room allowing the teenagers to spread out a bit. Great place. Great views. Clean. Kind owner."

  • Great location! Wonderful charm and updated decor! Great mountain livin'!

"Crested Butte is that quintessential mountain town that is lost somewhere in Colorado's charming past. This home has everything of that and so much more. Historic cabin feel with all the updates. The kitchen was well equipped with a great gas modern stovetop. But who wants to cook when there are such terrific restaurants just around the corner and down the main street on Elk. So very quiet yet close to everything! Especially loved the outdoor fenced-in patio with the 3 bedrooms and bath on the ground floor. (The full bath had a soaker tub AND a steam shower that would be so appreciated in winter.) The open space living on the upper level was perfect for hanging out with family and friends; small 1/2 bath close by so the little one's didn't have to go up and down the stairs all the time. The side TV area/office kept the grandkids entertained when we weren't enjoying all that CB has to offer. A perfect place for 6 adults...even better, 4 adults, 2 kids! We'll be back but I bet this place gets rented most all the time! The Barnes/Panicucci family Grand Beach Michigan/Breckenridge, Colorado"
