"We were in Crested Butte for a wedding with our 2 adult daughters. Comfortable, convenient, very responsive host. Perfect!"

  • Great downtown location

"It's a little funky, but that's the charm of Crested Butte. The location is excellent for taking advantage of downtown amenities and it's just three blocks to the town bus. Parking is very limited, (two spots, three if you squeeze) considering the number of people the house accommodates. Snow removal was scant on the patio adjacent to the river, but the kids took this as an opportunity to build a giant snow cave that wil probably be there until July. Beware of snow accumulating on the roof. It builds up immense, icy, hang fire before it drops onto the patio. The furniture and bedrooms are all comfortable, and it's great to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The listing implied that there was a hot tub, so it was disappointing to discover there was none. The in-floor heat was nice, but did nothing for the upstairs bedrooms, which would get cold at night, and we couldn't find any additional blankets. A small space heater for the upstairs bedrooms would be nice. The kitchen was well appointed and well designed for feeding a crowd. Overall, the place suited our needs and everyone had a good time. I would stay here again - particularly if they had a hot tub."

  • Ideal location in town, quiet, rustic

"This rustic cabin is a block and a half from restaurants and shops in town - an ideal location! Communication was straight forward with no hassles. The bedroom on the main floor is small but fine and the bed was very comfortable - at night the neighborhood was silent. The loft upstairs is accessed by climbing a ladder. Fine if you don't plan on getting up in the middle of the night. We didn't use the loft. The cottage is a very rustic style as shown in the photos - slippers are recommended by the owners for walking around on the wood floors. The washer and dryer was just what we needed (soap included) and the kitchen provided everything required. We used the fireplace which was easy to operate. The TV was fairly small and had a strange set of channels, no ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, but plenty of other channels. The place was a little dark even with the skylight. It was clean on the inside, but needed a sweep and clean up on the outside porch area. We didn't sit outside either at the front or in the backyard that is shared with other places (no fence). Overall we enjoyed our stay, slept well, and the location was really ideal."

  • Amazing in-town location. Great Owner.

"We spent a wonderful week a at the cabin. Walking distance from everything in town. In fact, it's right in the CENTER of everything. Well appointed and easily accessible with quiet neighbors and no issues for a whole week makes for a wonderful stay. The cabin was just as described and honestly the pictures don't do it justice. much bigger than we expected and the flow is excellent. We never got in each others way and always had ample room. Leslie, the owner was awesome and always got right back to us with any questions we had. If you are looking to stay in town consider the Sopris Cabin. we hope to come back soon."
