  • Big group? This is the place!

"This stay was our 2nd and both times we housed 15 people with the addition of 2 airbags. The five toilets were quite adequate and appreciated. We love skiing right up to the door (intermediate or better skills required). Both times we've stayed we discused purchasing such a property for our large family outings. My extended family says thank you over and over again for choosing this property for our annual ski trip. Purgatory? The only place we have all agreed on as perfect in every way. You gotta see it to believe it."

  • A great place to stay in Durango

"My family and I stayed here for 4 days for a spring skiing vacation. The house is located about 25 minutes from Purgatory and about 10-15 minutes from Durango. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything from a pancake gridle to a crockpot. The couches and fireplace in the living room make it a comfortable place to relax after a day on the slopes. We didn't use the back patio, but there is one with a BBQ and an outdoor dining set. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The bathrooms are stocked with big, fluffy towels, and the extras like additional rolls of toilet paper, soap, and things like that were appreciated so we didn't have to make a trip to the store after our long drive to Durango. John was easy to deal with and answered all my questions. There was some confusion about the pricing when I made the reservation, but he worked with me to quickly fix the problem. I would highly recommend this rental. We hope to come back in the future."

  • Cozy cabin!

"We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin located in a beautiful neighborhood very near the ski mountain. The cabin had everything we needed and we loved walking in the neighborhood and soaking in the hot tub. We arrived in the middle of a very snowy few days, and the owner was extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. We hope to come back soon!"
