  • The condo was clean, well equipped and in excellent condition.

"We had a wonderful time while staying at cascade village. Lots of fine amenities. We had a family reunion there and our grandchildren loved the swimming pool. There was also a large grassy area to play outside on with a quaint pond to fish in. The barbque area was very nice to use for outdoor cooking. Our condo was nicely placed to access all of these amenities. It had all the necessary kitchen accessories and cleaning supplies and very clean. With the size group we had it would have been nice to have a card table and chairs for extra eating space and playing games on. Beds were very comfortable and linens were of nice quality. I would recommend the condo to anyone. We will come back and will secure this condo for our next stay. Cascade Village was nicely situated to access fishing places, hiking, use of the skiing area for winter or summer use, and only 30 miles from Durango or Silverton. We were very happy about our choice and will return with no hesitation."

  • Good upkept condo in a beautiful location

"The condo was very nice for our stay. The condo is older, but is kept up with updates and cleanliness. Nice huge bathroom and my daughter enjoyed the jetted tub. The owner has a very nice selection of coffee for renters to use which was a treat! The owner also had a lot of info about the area and how to get to fishing and hiking spots and also restaurants(the schoolhouse pizza place pizza was awesome). Pool and hot tub inside was good the outside hot tubs burned your skin, so hopefully they have that fixed, I'm sure, by now. The view from the condo balcony and just the whole area is beautiful. We would come back, my only con about the whole place was a very uncomfortable bed in the bedroom, might have to switch to the foam pullout couch next time!! Thank you Rhonda for sharing your place with us you made our stay very enjoyable!!"

  • Nice Place to Stay

"While this property has seen better days (especially the dishwasher and trash compartment in kitchen) it fit our needs for us and four grandchildren. They especially liked the indoor pool and hot tub. The location is in a ski area but be advised that while the directions we received stated it was 20 miles north of Durango it is actually 23 miles north of the City limits and 28 miles from downtown."

  • Wonderful location

"A great location to start any adventure. We stayed at the townhome while a group of Venture scouts went on a four day hike. It was an easy hour long, but sometimes nerve wracking, drive to the town of Ouray. The townhome was very clean and we were very happy being in the cool mountains of Colorado. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a centrally located "home-base" when visiting the Durango/Silverton area."
