  • Beautiful Unit

"We had arranged for all our kids and grandkids to get together and the condo worked great for us. We could spend time together but it was large enough that we were not on top of each other. The little ones could take naps without being disturbed as well."

  • Wonderful location with a fabulous view. Comfortable accommodations that felt like home.

"I'm writing this on our final morning as I sip my coffee in the sunbeams coming through the patio windows. The view of the mountains is distracting, not that I mind. My husband and I came for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and for him to get a little mountain biking in and for some hiking. Rich was quick to respond to our reservation request and suggested dining places for our celebration. We arrived to a clean and well equipped condo that felt as though we were in the home of friends. The set up with the master bedroom down made for an overnight visit from friends comfortable, giving privacy to all. There's a sleeper sofa in the living area and a full bath on the main level. Also in the small den downstairs there is another sleeper. However, this wouldn't offer much privacy for couples but would be fine for a family with younger children. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to cook and the gas grill on the deck is an additional bonus. Durango has many restaurants to choose from, however it's about a 30 minute drive. We got a kick out of The Olde Schoolhouse 3 miles down the road, a fun local place with incredible pizza. Just be prepared to wait for a long time or call your order ahead of your arrival if you're super hungry. Sow's Ear down the road a mile was delightful as well and has a lovely view of the mountains. A drive to Silverton is a must for the spectacular scenery. Thanks Rich, we enjoyed your condo and hospitality. Looking forward to future visits."

  • Amazing

"We had so much fun and the condo was just perfect for our family and dog. My mother-in-law joined us and navigated the spiral staircase with no problem. It snowed the whole time and skiing and snowmobiling was spectacular! Being able to walk back and forth to the lodge was definitely an added bonus, as was sitting by the fire watching it snow for hours. We didn't want it to end. Terri, thank you again for everything. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Durango!"
