  • Nice

"My family and I were very pleased with the rental. We had the max capacity of people allowed for the complex and all had plenty of room. The only downside was the beds were not comfortable, possibly due to being old."

  • Wonderful!

"We could not believe how lucky we were when we drove up and saw this beautiful cabin tucked away at the end of the road. The wrap around deck made for spectacular views from every angle . The cabin was fully furnished with everything you could need to make yourself at home. We had breakfast and dinner every night at the cabin and it was just wonderful having my whole family sitting around the table enjoying and talking during our meals. I was able to take my 2 mini-schnauzers Todd and Charlie who enjoyed the crisp walks in the mornings, napping in the sunshine on the deck during the day to rest and sleeping in front of the fireplace in the evenings. We all enjoyed sitting in the relaxing hot tub in the evening after a day of sight seeing and hiking. It was also fun to see all the wildlife around, the wild turkeys, elk, chipmunks, squirrels. The cabin was 30 minutes from Durango so we were able to go into town and enjoy the many shops and local eateries. Be sure to stop by Honeyville and pick up some homemade honey, candy, jams and wine totally worth it. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, well maintained property that is pet friendly to enjoy with your family. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!"

  • Great Value!

"The condo is a great value, sits on a wonderful view, is well appointed and decorated, and has all of the kitchen tools and amenities one may need. The only downsides were that there were children in the condo upstairs, whose floor jets into this condo by about 50%. The condo's ceiling is their floor and there is a shared wall going up to the ceiling. The children were loud starting at 5:30am 2 of our 4 mornings. And loud pounding footsteps could also be heard. The 2nd improvement would be to the hot water pressure. The water was hot enough, just the flow is merely a trickle in the warm to hot positions. We would probably stay there again....especially without the upstairs neighbors."

  • Perfect setting and accommodations!

"Our family LOVED staying in this Tamarron condo. It was perfect for our family of four but would easily hold more comfortably. The setting is just perfect as it is nestled right at the edge of the national forest. Look out the back and all you see is the beautiful mountainous landscape. The accommodations in the condo were great! Plenty of room and included everything we needed for a week's stay. We all enjoyed the hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool as well which overlooked the trees and mountains. A short ten minute drive got us to the slopes at Purgatory, which had a nice family atmosphere. Only ten minutes in the other direction to the town of Durango which we enjoyed walking around and dining at the local eateries. One day we took a beautiful drive down to the old mining town, Silverton, and enjoyed doing some sightseeing there. This was a great winter ski vacation for our family, but we really want to come back and stay in the summer! There are so many local activities such as the train ride, mining tours, hikes, and ziplining that we are dying to get back and try. We highly recommend this condo! We felt like it was home to us while we were there and would love to return!"
