  • Perfect condo

"The condo was just as pictured and described. I was worried that it might be too hot with no air conditioner, but with the open windows and fans it was very comfortable. When we arrived (on a Sunday) the Internet was not working. I called Becky and she had someone out the next day to fix it. The complex was quiet and not too crowded. We went to the pool daily and only once was it crowded. The location was great. It was a quick drive to Durango or Silverton. While there we went white water rafting, took a jeep tour, went to Silverton and took a gold mine tour, and went to Purgatory Resort to hike and do the alpine slide. I already miss the gorgeous views from the condo."

  • Super nice condo - great location!

"Our family of 5 stayed in the condo in Durango Mountain Resort and had a lovely time!! The condo was big enough that we all had space and the use of the pool, hot tub, and work out area was great!!! Durango is beautiful and we enjoyed time on the deck with coffee in the morning and wine at night! So peaceful. the condo is well equipped - there is even a crock pot which we definitely used! I can tell that this would be a GREAT place to stay in the winter. The lifts are just steps away!! The resort itself was great with Alpine Slides, and ropes courses and zip lines which we all enjoyed! If you get a chance drive up to Silverton (just 30 miles away) - what a cute fun little town with a ton of history. The drive from Silverton to Ourey is not for the faint of heart -- lots of twisty roads -- but absolutely gorgeous!!!! We also did a day of White Water Rafting with Mild to Wild and really enjoyed that!!! Thank you for a great vacation stay!! We really enjoyed it!!"

  • Awesome Family Spring Break vacation!!

"We were lucky enough to book the Murphys' beautiful 3 story home for Spring Break in late March. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ages 7-11. The house is fantastic, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and not be on top of each other. The views are breath taking. Gorgeous gas fire place in living room and master bedroom. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and soft. Kitchen is loaded out with everything you would need to cook with and serve your guest. House includes a washer and dryer. Plenty of closet/dresser space to store your gear out of the way. Great big garage to park your SUV/Car out of the weather. Garage has ski rack for 8 sets of skis and poles which made it nice to keep everyone's equip. separated. The house is situated in a perfect location for access to everything at base of moutain. The ski shop, ski school check in was just 100 yards away from back porch. The main 6 person chair lift is convienetly right out the back door. During our stay we got 10" of snow for a fantastic ski trip. Once the kids got the skiing down, we were able to all ski out, and ski back in to back porch...such a cool thing for the adults and kids. The owner was very gracious, and always there for any questions we had to help make our stay fantastic. I give this place a 10 out of 10 for location, ski access, and comfort. We plan to make Elk Point 12 lodge our yearly winter family vacation spot!"

  • Amazing

"We had so much fun and the condo was just perfect for our family and dog. My mother-in-law joined us and navigated the spiral staircase with no problem. It snowed the whole time and skiing and snowmobiling was spectacular! Being able to walk back and forth to the lodge was definitely an added bonus, as was sitting by the fire watching it snow for hours. We didn't want it to end. Terri, thank you again for everything. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Durango!"
