Recent Purgatory (Formerly Durango Mountain Resort) reviews

  • Beautiful home with all the amenities and more!

"This was our second time for the 14 of us to stay at the home in Engineer Village across from the ski area. It is so convenient and is on the free shuttle route. With 3 laundry rooms and two dishwashers, our stay was very organized with such a large group. The house is clean, well maintained, and very comfortable, not to mention first class! There were ample towels, linens, kitchen supplies, pantry supplies, and paper goods. We were well taken care of by the manager of the home any time we had a question. We highly recommend the home."

  • Beautiful Unit

"We had arranged for all our kids and grandkids to get together and the condo worked great for us. We could spend time together but it was large enough that we were not on top of each other. The little ones could take naps without being disturbed as well."

  • Arkansas Family Ski Trip!

"Me, my wife and our daughter enjoyed a three day ski vacation and stayed in this unit at the Angel Haus. Room was excellent, located about 200 yards from the base area! So nice to ski down and walk back to the room for lunch. The price was amazing considering the location of the room on the mountain and the local management was friendly and served us well! We will definitely book this unit again and recommend it to anyone going to Purgatory."

  • Pine Point

"This cabin/chalet is tucked away in a most beautiful spot with views that are a 10. We arrived for a family ski trip and the home is literally 5 minutes from the slopes (Purgatory). There were six adults and with the apartment there was enough room for us. The wood burning fire box was more than adequate for heat and the wood was provided by the owner. The south facing wall of windows made for glorious morning views. We arrived right after a winter snow dump and four wheel drive is a must to get to the home which we had and it was not a problem. The driveway and pathways were shoveled for our arrival. This home is private and sits on a beautiful cliff and that is what you are paying for... well worth it in my opinion."
