  • We loved our stay!

"We had a great time at Cascade Village. It snowed the day of our arrival so we had a wonderful powder day on the slopes at Purgatory. The condo was very roomy which allowed our group to spread out and relax. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace while relaxing in the evenings and the kitchen was adequately equipped for our meal preparation. Our only frustration about the unit would be that we couldn't figure out how to work the jacuzzi tub in the master bath. We did make use of the communal soaking hot tubs and sauna in the community building , but note that the indoor jacuzzi unit near the pool was out of commission while we were there. All in all we had a great time and hope to stay here again!"

  • Couldn't ask for anything better

"My family (and 4 other families from church) spent Spring Break in this beautiful home. This was my first VRBO experience and I admit to being a little nervous that everything would work out. As soon as I pulled up to the house and went inside all of my worries went away. The home was all that we could have hoped for and then some. Other than food, everything was supplied. The kitchen was huge and had everything you could ever need. All of the kitchenware and appliances were top notch. On the back porch there is even a built in gas grill. The pool table and video games kept everyone entertained in the evenings. Having 2 washers and dryers meant that everyone didn’t have to go home with suitcases full of dirty clothes. The shuttle service to and from the mountain was great. Being picked up and dropped off at the front door is way better than dealing with the parking lot. Nick the caretaker was really nice and even came to take a group picture for us. The fact that before the week was over we were already discussing a return trip next Spring Break says it all."

  • Very pretty setting with the mountains in the distance.

"Enjoyed our stay at Black Bear 110. Nice and cozy with the cabin look and the fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. The mountains made an awesome backdrop. Got to experience a light snow along with the beautiful fall color on the aspen trees."

  • Great location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very happy with our time there - nice house and great location! A couple of comments: Likes - it was nice that the upstairs bathroom had 2 doors so it was easily accessible from both bedrooms, nice quiet area, with good views. Kitchen was very nice! We enjoyed the firepit. Areas for improvements: House could have been cleaner, found several cob webs inside and the windows were VERY dirty. A few things are in need of repair - the refridgerator (fan was loud and annoying, and didn't keep stuff cold at all), one of the door handles on a door to the deck was broken. The grill would light, but the flame wasn't very high. Our guys spent probably 1/2 hour cleaning it really good and then it worked fine. Supplies were limited - could have used more bowls, serving dishes and towels. We've rented several VRBO's in the past and have NEVER had to buy our own supplies when we ran out(Toilet Paper, dish soap, etc.). There were no Ziploc Bags and a very small amount of Alum Foil, etc. - things that we thought would have been there. A TV in a common area would have been nice. We weren't inside much, but still would have liked to have a TV available to watch the news (especially weather in the morning. When we arrived, the house was very stuffy, would have been nice (with no rain in the forecast) for it to have been opened up a little and ceiling fans turned on since there is no air conditioning. If you stay at this house, be sure to walk up the hill and watch the Durango/Silverton train go by!!"
