  • Great Family Vacation Condo

"This is our 3rd year our two families of 4 have stayed at Mark's home-away-from-home at Purgatory Lodge. This condo has everything you need and want. There is so much room here, the 4 adults and 4 pre-teen and teenage boys have plenty of space to spread out and never feel cramped. The kids sleep in the bunk beds so the 4th room is used as an extra space for toys, luggage or piling on the fold out bed and watching a movie (which rarely happens because there's so much to do!). The kitchen is stocked with all the staples and more. We cooked all our dinners and enjoyed gathering around the 8 seat table for dinner then games. There's is no need for AC in the unit as all the windows open and cool the condo down to the point it gets chilly- even in July! There's plenty to do at the condo- zipline, alpine slide, ropes course, hiking, renting bikes (you can take your bike on the ski lift and have a fun yet challenging ride down), swimming, hot tub, game room (w/ a pool table, foosball, Xbox and Wii) and across the street you can now rent paddleboards and paddleboats. We always enjoy off-roading in a rented jeep to drive up high in the mountains and get our feet in snow and taking a rafting trip down the Animas. You will not go wrong renting this condo. Mark is very responsive and, as a local, can help you should you need recommendations."

  • Gorgeous mountain location

"My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain home outside of Durango, Colorado. The house is tastefully furnished and fully equipped with everything you need for a getaway. Although it has a lovely secluded feel in an aspen and pine grove, it is located within walking distance to the ski resort and a number of hiking and biking trails and within a short drive from Durango if you want to have dinner or a cup of coffee! I would definitely recommend this home for families, couples, or friends interested in staying in a luxurious mountain home with access to Colorado's great outdoors!"

  • Best Family trip EVER!!!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the best family vacation from start to finish!! Keith took care of everything - he answered all my crazy questions and made sure our stay was perfect!! the house was even better in person then on the pictures - The fireplace in the master room was outstanding!! all the rooms were adequate size for our entire group of 10 We were so close to purgatory that we could ski and come back to the house to eat and go back- we found a restaurant called "old School house" THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA -not a great place for little kids but the food was amazing - I suggest getting groc. in Durango before you get to the house - They had blenders/blow dyers/full washing machine and dryer - every room had a TV and the beds were great!! def staying there next year!!"
