Recent Purgatory (Formerly Durango Mountain Resort) reviews

  • What a great room and location!!!

"We travel to Durango every year, and always stay at Cascade Village because it is close to Purgatory Ski Resort. We stayed in Cascade 903403 this year, and absolutely loved the unit. The owners were very accommodating for our group and made the stay just wonderful. We look forward to next year--thanks Debra!!!!"

  • Beautiful house in a great area. We were surrounded by great mountains and ton of snow.

"Had a great time in the house as it was a beautiful place and extremely close to the ski slopes. The house had all the amenities that we could ask for and everything was in great shape."

  • Beautiful Mountain Home

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This mountain home is exceptional and perfectly located across from Purgatory Ski Resort. We had snow every day that we were up there, which made the ski conditions amazing. The home was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and was convenient and easy to use. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out, but the home still felt cozy. One disappointment though was the second "master bedroom". It is a very small bedroom with a 3/4 bath attached. It has a king sized bed, but is vastly inferior to the true master bedroom, located downstairs. The true master is large with a flat screen tv, fireplace, and a huge bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower, double vanity, and walk-in closets. If you rent this property, be aware that the two master bedrooms are not at all equal. We had two adult couples in the house and we were expecting it to have two master bedrooms, as advertised. The bunk rooms for the kids, however, were perfect for our brood. Despite the master situation, we were very happy with this property and would love to go back. It was a beautiful winter experience."
