  • Tanner trip

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In general very good. You need a potato peeler. Other than that all items were great. Also saw a mouse."

  • Great place

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great spot, great place. Located at the base of Purgatory Ski Resort. Walk right into the Village at the base. Clean, a little outdated. Great views."

  • Great Family Vacation Condo

"This is our 3rd year our two families of 4 have stayed at Mark's home-away-from-home at Purgatory Lodge. This condo has everything you need and want. There is so much room here, the 4 adults and 4 pre-teen and teenage boys have plenty of space to spread out and never feel cramped. The kids sleep in the bunk beds so the 4th room is used as an extra space for toys, luggage or piling on the fold out bed and watching a movie (which rarely happens because there's so much to do!). The kitchen is stocked with all the staples and more. We cooked all our dinners and enjoyed gathering around the 8 seat table for dinner then games. There's is no need for AC in the unit as all the windows open and cool the condo down to the point it gets chilly- even in July! There's plenty to do at the condo- zipline, alpine slide, ropes course, hiking, renting bikes (you can take your bike on the ski lift and have a fun yet challenging ride down), swimming, hot tub, game room (w/ a pool table, foosball, Xbox and Wii) and across the street you can now rent paddleboards and paddleboats. We always enjoy off-roading in a rented jeep to drive up high in the mountains and get our feet in snow and taking a rafting trip down the Animas. You will not go wrong renting this condo. Mark is very responsive and, as a local, can help you should you need recommendations."

  • We loved the condo and location!

"We arrived late on Sunday evening right before their first snowfall of the year and we woke up to a winter wonderland which couldn't of been more perfect! Although this trip was just my husband and I the condominium was very spacious and comfortable and would work wonderful for families and a small group traveling together. The condominium was fully stocked with not only kitchen the necessity cooking utensils, but also things such as spices, coffee, sugar, aluminum foil, trash bags, dish soap, paper towels etc. We did however purchase extra of these items and left them behind to pay it forward for the next guests. The condo owner also provided other necessities such as shampoo, conditioner and lots of wonderful samples such as deodorant, lotions, soaps, cold remedy products, etc. The condo was located directly adjacent and a very short walk to the medical and adaptive buildings as well as the ski lift. Perfect ski in/ski out location. Unfortunately, this lift was not open while we were there this trip since they had not yet had enough snowfall yet however, the main Purgatory ski lodge and lifts were just a short walk away. The condo unit also has a two car garage which is wonderful in the winter so you don't have to spend your time scraping ice off your windows. The garage also provides a great space to leave your wet skis. I would highly recommend this condo and hope that we will be staying here from now on when visiting Durango and Purgatory."
